1.   Increased Welcome Bonus Through August 8, 2018

The current welcome bonus on this card is huge.  When you apply for the AMEX Business Platinum card by August 8, 2018, you’ll earn:

• 50,000 AMEX Membership Rewards points after you spend $10,000 on purchases in the first 3 months of account opening
• 50,000 AMEX Membership Rewards points after you spend an additional $15,000 on qualifying purchases within the same time frame

After completing the minimum spending, you will have at least 125,000 AMEX Membership Rewards points (100,000 point intro bonus + at least 25,000 points from the minimum spend).  That’s worth at least $1,250!

The $450 annual fee is not waived the first year, but the card offers many benefits to offset the cost.

2.   Ongoing Bonus Point Earning Opportunities

5x AMEX Membership Rewards Points on Flights and Pre-Paid Hotels Booked Through AMEX Travel

This card offers huge earning potential through the AMEX travel portal.  You will earn 5X AMEX Membership Rewards points per $1 spent on flights and pre-paid hotels through the AMEX travel portal.

6.   Fee Credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck

How would you like to leave your shoes on and breeze through the security line like it’s 1999?  You’ll be on your way because the AMEX Business Platinum offers a statement credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck.  All you need to do is pay for either (not both) with your credit card and you will get an automatic statement credit for the amount spent – $100 for Global Entry or $85 for TSA PreCheck.

I think this perk is often overlooked, but it’s one that can be really valuable.  AMEX Offers vary and change often, but offer some great perks like statement credits or bonus points for spending you’d make already.
