Via Doctor of Credit, there’s a new offer for the Chase Hyatt card that includes 2 free nights after meeting minimum spending requirements AND a $50 statement credit after making your first purchase!

The regular offer for The Hyatt Credit card does NOT have the $50 statement credit, but does include 5,000 bonus Hyatt points for adding an authorized user who makes a purchase in the first 3 months of account opening.

And to get the offer with the $50 statement credit, you must already be a World of Hyatt member, or create a new account.

Emily and I don’t receive a commission for the offer with the $50 statement credit, but we’ll always tell you about the best deals!

Which Is the Better Offer?

The regular offer for the Chase Hyatt card does NOT include a $50 statement credit after your first purchase.  Instead, you’ll get 5,000 bonus Hyatt points when you add an authorized user and make a purchase in the first 3 months of opening your account.

That’s in addition to the 2 free nights at any Hyatt hotel after you spend $2,000 on purchases in the first 3 months of account opening.

5,000 Hyatt points can be worth much more than $50.  For example, Hyatt category 1 hotels cost 5,000 Hyatt points per night, and the majority cost well over $50 per night.

So for most folks, the regular offer is a much better deal.

  1. I have the regular hyatt card and have received the 2 free night bonus when I signed up that I used at Cancun Ziva! Can I apply for this card and still get the bonus? Can I apply for this card in a business name and still get the bonus?

  2. Hey, not sure if you were aware, but I just got an email offer from Chase that didn’t have the 2 nights….but 40K points as the bonus after 2K16 spend. Let me know if you want more details.

  3. Is this a strict once in a lifetime bonus policy?

  4. This offer has been available for months, all you had to do was start making a reservation by not being logged into your Hyatt account, and before confirming the reservation, you could get the 2 nights free plus $50 credit.

  5. Egh…

A Chase card – can’t apply due to their disasterous 5/24 rules.

Oh well – do you have any other cards that are NOT Chase to recommend??

Anybody knows if the two free nights have an expiration date? Thanks!

  7. How soon will we get the free nights once I meet the spending requirement.
Planning for a trip to Cancun this Memorial Day,so wondering if I can get free nights on time
