I haven’t personally stayed in all of these hotels.  But they’re in great locations and are a good deal with Starwood points.  And a few come highly recommended from Million Mile Secrets readers!

1.   Residence Inn Manhattan / Central Park

If you’re planning a trip to New York City, you can convert Starwood points to stay at the Residence Inn New York Manhattan / Central Park.

Million Mile Secrets reader Aaron likes this hotel because of its location between Central Park and Times Square.  Folks on TripAdvisor rate this hotel highly too!

2.   Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina

Looking to get away to sunny Southern California?  You can use points to stay at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina.

This hotel is in an amazing location.  You can walk to Downtown or the Gaslamp Quarter, which is home to fantastic restaurants.

Team member Keith recently stayed here and loved you can walk right outside the hotel to see some spectacular boats.

Folks on TripAdvisor rate the highly with ~1,700 excellent reviews.  They like the view of the San Diego Bay and the large pool area.

3.   Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, Autograph Collection

If you’re planning an adventure to Hawaii, you can stay on the Big Island at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, Autograph Collection.

The Big Island is home to Kilauea, which is one of the most active volcanoes in the world.  It’s ~2 hour drive from the hotel.

Or if you’re looking for rest and relaxation, you can visit Mauna Kea Spa, which is located at the hotel.  Or you can play golf at the nearby Mauna Kea Golf Course.

Based on TripAdvisor reviews, the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel is the top rated hotel in this area of the Big Island.

Paying cash to stay at this hotel can cost you ~$375 to ~$700 per night.

4.   JW Marriott Chicago

The JW Marriott Chicago is in an excellent location for folks looking to explore Chicago from a central location.  Some folks on TripAdvisor say the JW Marriott Chicago is the only hotel they’d consider when staying in Chicago.

The hotel is walking distance to popular attractions like Millennium Park and the Art Institute of Chicago.

Chicago also has amazing restaurants!  Many are nearby like RPM Steak.  Or you can dine at the hotel’s restaurant, Florentine, which serves traditional Italian food.  Yum!

Families traveling to Disney World can do well using points to stay at the Marriott Cypress Harbour Villas.  The hotel is ~10 minute drive from Disney World and ~5 minute drive from SeaWorld.

There’s plenty to do at the hotel for everyone in the family, including 3 pools, basketball courts, and evening entertainment.
