1. Save 10% at Airbnb
To get the discount, pay for a completed Airbnb stay by January 11, 2016. Check your Bank of America account to see if you qualify.
While I like using hotel points because I can stay for free, Airbnb is also a good option for folks looking for affordable accommodations.
You’ll likely get a better feel for the local culture by staying outside of a major resort. And Airbnb offers unique places where you can rest your head at night, like The Seashell House in Isla Mujeres, Mexico.
This could be a good deal for folks who didn’t get or already used the AMEX Offer for $50 off when you spend $100+ at Airbnb.
And if you’re new to Airbnb, you can stack either of these offers with Emily’s referral link to save another $20 when you spend at least $75!
2. $100 Off Silvercar for New Users & 15% Off for Returning Renters
You can add a touch of luxury to your holiday travels with Silvercar and save up to $100!
With promotional code “JOLLY75”, you’ll save $75 on your 1st rental of 2 days or more through January 10, 2016. And you should be able to double dip by signing-up for Silvercar through my referral link to save another $25.
And existing users aren’t left out of the savings! If you’ve tried Silvercar in the past, you can still save 15% using promotional code “JOLLY15” through January 10, 2016.
Check out my review of Silvercar and read about my friends’ experience renting a Silvercar in Austin!
3. Save $20 on Uber With Facebook Messenger (Existing Users Too!)
This feature is currently only available in certain cities, but it’s worth a quick check on the app to see if you qualify.
Here’s a video that shows you how it works:
In the menu at the bottom of the app, you should see a car icon. By clicking it you can order your ride. If you don’t have the icon in the menu bar, try sending a message that includes an address, tap the address, and the transportation options should pop-up.
There are rumors you’ll soon be able to order a Lyft ride through Facebook Messenger, but you won’t get the discount. However, if this is your 1st time trying Lyft you can get $50 in free ride credit with my link!
So if you need a ride after a late night holiday party, these are easy ways to save!
4. Double Miles or Points at Hilton
When you stay at Hilton hotels between January 1, 2016, and April 30, 2016, you can earn double airline miles or Hilton points.
Choose wisely, because once you make your selection you can NOT make changes. I’d choose double points because you’ll earn 25 Hilton points per $1 you spend (12.5 points at Home2 Suites) during your stay, but if you select double airline miles, you’ll typically only earn 2 miles per $1 spent.
Remember, the AMEX Hilton Surpass and Citi Hilton Reserve are the best cards to use for paid Hilton stays. When you pay with 1 of these cards you’ll earn an additional 10X to 12X Hilton points per $1 spent!
To get the most out of this deal, make sure your earning preferences match your selection. For more details, read my review on a similar previous offer.
5. Easy 300 US Bank FlexPerks Points (Worth Up to $6 in Airfare)
Michael W Travels writes, US Bank FlexPerks cardholders can earn a quick 300 US Bank FlexPerks points for watching a video. This deal is good through March 31, 2016.
US Bank FlexPerks points can be worth as much as 2 cents per point toward airfare! So the 300 points you earn are worth up to $6. Not bad for watching a quick video!
Enter your card information and look for the video about the Nucleus intercom system. The points should credit to your account in 8 to 10 weeks.
