Check your AMEX Membership Rewards accounts!  There are new targeted offers for bonus points when you transfer to Hilton through November 30, 2018.  Some folks are seeing bonuses as high as 50%!

The normal transfer ratio is 1:2, but yours could be much better, depending on how much your bonus offer is.

If you find a hotel you like and combine it with the 5th night free on award stays, you can save a lot of points and money on your stay!

Here’s more about this deal!

Up to 50% Bonus Points Transferring AMEX Membership Rewards Points to Hilton

AMEX is handing out bonus points to folks who transfer their Membership Rewards points to Hilton through November 30, 2018.

Typically, you’ll get 2,000 Hilton points for every 1,000 AMEX Membership Rewards points you transfer.

But with targeted bonus offers, some folks are seeing they can get 3,000 Hilton points for every 1,000 AMEX Membership Rewards points transferred.  That’s a 50% bonus, added instantly.

I got a 30% Transfer Bonus in My AMEX Account

When I checked, I saw an offer to get a 30% bonus.  And others report only getting a 10% bonus.  But it’s worth checking to see what’s in your account.  It might inspire you to take a trip! 😉

An Excellent Example of What You Can Get

If you get a 30% or 50% bonus, you can combine that with the 5th night free on award stays if you have any elite status with Hilton.

For example, a 5-night stay at the Hilton Waikiki Beach costs 200,000 Hilton points.  It’s 50,000 Hilton points per night, but the 5th night is free with elite status.

If you were targeted for a 50% bonus for transferring AMEX Membership Rewards points, you’d need to send 67,000 points to Hilton to then have 201,000 Hilton points (67,000 X 3).

That makes each night here only 13,400 AMEX Membership Rewards points (67,000 / 5), which is a fantastic deal!  Especially when you consider the paid rates for a 5-night stay can cost $1,700+!

Right now, all 4 AMEX Hilton cards have increased welcome bonuses.  And all of them include elite status as a card perk.

Don’t worry about which tier you are, because even the lowest status level (Silver) gets access to the 5th night free on every award stay.

Also, if you have any version of The Platinum Card® from American Express or The Business Platinum Card® from American Express, you can activate Hilton Gold elite status!

Remember, you can still do well on even 1-night stays, depending on how many points you need and what offer you’re targeted for.  So run the numbers if you have a trip in mind – you might be surprised what a good deal this can be!
