Bottom Line

The AMEX Hilton cards have WAY better offers than before.  So if you’ve been waiting to apply, your patience has paid off.

Remember, AMEX only allows you to earn a welcome bonus on each card once per LIFETIME.  So for example, if you’ve had the AMEX Hilton Ascend before, you won’t earn a bonus by opening it again.

However, because these cards are considered different “products”, you ARE eligible for the welcome bonuses on all the other cards.  So long as you haven’t had them before.

I currently have the Hilton Am Ex SURPASS card. Can I get the Ascend card and receive the bonus points? There was some discussion when the Ascend card first came out, that maybe not.

I have a Amex Hilton Reserve and got 100K. I want my wife to apply for the 150K bonus. Can we combine points?

Yes you may, you may also combine both under your name. I got both cards and a combined sign-up of 250K.
The link to these offers is not availabe to all, but I found them at http://www.frugaltravelhacks.com site. Enjoy!
