This is fantastic news for all those loyal Hilton fans out there.  And a reason folks who prefer other hotel chains might consider staying at Hilton hotels more often!

With Hilton’s new (and improved!) price match guarantee, recently called their “best rate guarantee,” you can submit a price match claim before you even book.  And on top of that, you’ll get 25% off each night you found at a lower price if your claim is accepted.

Being able to submit your claim before booking could save you lots of hassle.  And getting a 25% discount on the cheaper rate is also a huge perk!  Plus, you can submit a claim up to 24 hours after making your reservation.

You can submit your price match guarantee claim online or by phone at 800-445-8667.  If you submit it online, Hilton will get back to you within 24 hours.  Claims made by phone will be handled instantly.  This even applies to claims made on same-day bookings.

What Types of Bookings Qualify for the Price Match Guarantee?

Here are the criteria the lower price must fulfill in order to qualify for a price match:

• The lower price must be found somewhere other than an official Hilton booking channel (like Hilton’s website or app)
• The lower price must be for the same type of accommodation
• The lower price can’t be restricted in any way and can be booked and viewed by anyone

The great thing about this type of price match guarantee is you can rest assured you’re getting the best deal when booking directly through Hilton.  And that way, you’ll also earn points and elite benefits, which usually aren’t available if you book a room through a third-party site like Expedia or Orbitz.
