The cheap flights to Europe keep coming – this time to Athens

New Cheap Flights to Europe With Norwegian

Norwegian will be flying 4 times a week from Chicago to Barcelona from June 7 to October 26, 2019.  One-way economy flights for this route start at $199.

Later in the summer, on July 2, they will begin flying to Athens from New York City (JFK).  This is also a seasonal flight that will fly 4 times a week through October 26, 2019.  One-way economy flights will start at $169.

If you want to book any of these flights with credit card rewards, your best bet is to look at cards you can use to book the flight and then erase the charges with miles or points.  Two good options are the:

With the Capital One Venture card, you can earn a bonus of 50,000 Capital One miles (worth $500 in travel) after spending $3,000 on purchases within the first 3 months of account opening.

And with the Barclaycard Arrival Plus, you can earn 70,000 Arrival miles (worth $700 in travel) after spending $5,000 on purchases within the first 90 days of account opening.

So both cards can easily earn you a free flight to Europe.

Deal was dead at 12pm! Although Google Flights is still showing availability, when you go and try to book, the price triples!

Works on flights to other cities in Spain too – Ibiza, Malaga, Mallorca, etc.
