Is It Worth It?
This is a good deal if you’re already planning a $500+ hotel stay. But as always, I recommend comparing prices (and perks!) to make sure you’re getting the best deal.
Because when you book through the AMEX travel portal, you won’t earn hotel points or elite status credits. And you might not have your elite status recognized during your stay!
So you’ll have to weigh the value of the bonus AMEX Membership Rewards points you’ll get through the deal versus booking directly with the hotel and getting hotel points and elite status perks. Because the value of certain elite status benefits, like free breakfast, can really add up!
