I’ll give you the details of this deal.

Club Carlson Promotion June 2017

Link:   Club Carlson Stay 2, Earn a Free Friday Night or 10K Points

Club Carlson has released a new promotion, and it’s worth a look!

After you complete 2 stays, you’ll receive either a free Friday night certificate or 10,000 bonus Club Carlson points.  Here’s what you need to know about this promotion:

  • Register here
  • You must choose which bonus you want before registering.  So choose wisely!
  • You must both register and complete your stays between July 1, 2017, and September 30, 2017
  • If you choose to receive a Friday certificate, you must use it between October 6, 2017, and January 26, 2018
  • Each member can receive this bonus 3 times
  • If you choose a free night certificate, you’ll receive it in the form of an e-certificate

Because you’ll receive the bonus after 2 stays (NOT 2 nights), this promotion is most valuable if your stays are only 1 night.

Most Club Carlson hotels are much more than 10,000 points per night.  So the free Friday night is more valuable, if you can use it!

Is This a Good Deal?

This is one of the best Club Carlson promotions I’ve seen in a long time!  Because you can use the free night certificates you earn at ANY Club Carlson hotel, including expensive hotels like the Radisson Blu 1919 Hotel Reykjavik, which can easily sell for $300+ per night, or 70,000 Club Carlson points.  Or the G&V Royal Mile Edinburgh, which costs ~$400, or 70,000 Club Carlson points, per night.

New Promotion Save Hundreds After Just 2 Hotel Stays
If You Stay at the G&V Royal Mile Edinburgh, You’ll Get 7X More Value From This Promotion By Choosing a Free Friday Night Certificate Over 10,000 Bonus Points. Because a Free Night Costs 70,000 Points!

Just remember, the free night is only valid for Friday nights!  And they expire on January 26, 2018.

If you have upcoming Club Carlson stays, registering for this promotion is a no-brainer.  And if you travel to areas where Club Carlson has lots of hotels, I’d consider switching my upcoming hotel stays for this promotion!  Club Carlson hotels are mostly on the East Coast and in Europe.

Just make sure you’re aware of other promotions from Starwood and MarriottChoice, and IHG.  Because they might be more valuable for reaching your travel goals!

Need More Club Carlson Points?

There aren’t many ways to earn Club Carlson points.  You can sign-up for the:

You can also stay at Club Carlson hotels and earn at least 20 Club Carlson points per $1.

Bottom Line

If you travel to areas with Club Carlson hotels, this is a great promotion for you!

After you complete 2 stays, you’ll receive either a free Friday night certificate or 10,000 bonus Club Carlson points.  But you must both register and stay between July 1, 2017, and September 30, 2017.

Is this promotion enough to make you switch your hotel stays?

Do reward stays count ?

my question too!

The promotion Terms & Conditions say that the "promotion is valid for Eligible Stays only....reserved at an Eligible Rate". And the overarching Club Carlson Terms & Conditions say that an "'Eligible Rate' means a rate identified in Carlson’s reservation system as eligible for Gold Points", which excludes "rates paid using a free night voucher and other complimentary or barter rooms." So my guess would be award nights do NOT count.

As nice as this deal sounds I'd be careful with Club Carlson promotions like this. I once had a free night certificate from them and found almost all their hotels were blacked out for the free night, but were available if I used points.

Interesting and disconcerting data point! Thanks for this.
