National Geographic just unveiled their list of top places to visit in 2019. I’m excited about the list because you can travel to all 28 destinations for FREE using Chase Ultimate Rewards Points! Just another reason I love earning points with the Ink Business Preferred℠ Credit Card and Chase Sapphire Reserve®.
Mexico City made the list, which is exciting because I recently spent 5 days there! A few Southwest destinations even made the list, including Oakland, California, which is great for folks with the Southwest Companion Pass!

How to Use Chase Ultimate Rewards Points to Book Free Travel
I love earning Chase Ultimate Rewards points because they’re easy to use to save money on travel. You can transfer points directly to more than a dozen airline and hotel partners.
For example, let’s say you want to visit Cairo, Egypt, which is on National Geographic’s list of top destinations to visit in 2019. You can transfer points directly to United Airlines. Then, use miles to book an award flight on partner airline EgyptAir!
Check out this video to learn how to transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points directly to an airline or hotel partner.
An even simpler way to redeem Chase Ultimate Rewards points is to book airfare, hotels, car rentals, or activities through the Chase travel portal. It’s like booking through Expedia. A lot of readers like booking airfare this way because you don’t have to worry about blackout dates. You’ll earn frequent flyer miles at the same time. Plus, you’re not limited to booking travel on Chase’s travel partners. You can book flights on just about any airline!
Depending on which Chase credit card you have, your Chase Ultimate Rewards points have a different value when used to book travel through the Chase travel portal.
This is the value of each point when you’re booking with the Chase Travel Portal:
Chase Ultimate Rewards Card | How Much Are Points Worth Toward Travel? |
