Link: 6 Reasons Why Hyatt Is My Favorite Chase Hotel Transfer Partner!
When you open the Chase Ink Business Preferred card, you’ll earn 80,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.
You can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points directly to Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio. Using your points this way can get you unbelievable value! That’s one reason why Hyatt is my favorite Chase hotel transfer partner!
Another reason I love Hyatt is they have no blackout dates. As a long as a standard room is available for sale, you can book it using points! This makes transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Hyatt a fantastic option when there’s a popular event going on near a hotel.
Here are some ways you can get the most value from your Chase Ultimate Rewards points for Hyatt hotel stays.
1. Save ~$2,700 on a 5-Night Stay in Park City During Sundance Film Festival!
The annual Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah will take place in January 2018. Because of the festival, room nights at the Hyatt Place Park City cost $499 per night plus taxes & fees if you pay cash.
Instead of paying cash, you can transfer points to Hyatt and book an award stay at this Category 4 Hyatt hotel. Award nights cost 15,000 Hyatt points per night. So the 80,000-point Ink Business Preferred sign-up bonus can get you 5 free nights.
Using 75,000 points for a 5-night stay from January 18, 2018 to January 23, 2018 would save you $2,700+! This means you’re getting ~3.6 cents per point (~$2,700 cost of hotel stay / 75,000 points).
Million Mile Secrets team member Keith stayed at this hotel during the Sundance Film Festival in 2017. He says the complimentary shuttle to Main Street was extremely convenient!
2. Celebrate the New Year in Times Square!
Ever dream of celebrating New Year’s Eve by watching the ball drop in New York City? Using points from the Ink Business Preferred sign-up bonus could be a great way to save money and stay directly in Times Square.
At the Hyatt Centric Times Square, you’ll pay 25,000 points per night for a free stay because it’s a Category 6 hotel.
I found 3 award nights available from December 30, 2017, to January 2, 2018. Transferring 75,000 points to Hyatt to book an award stay would save you $2,000!

3. Book 2 Luxurious Nights in Sydney
If you’re celebrating a special occasion, you could transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Hyatt and book a stay at the luxurious Park Hyatt Sydney.
I stayed at this hotel and thought the location was incredible just across from the Sydney Opera House! And team member Keith recently enjoyed staying at the hotel for 2 nights. This is a top tier Category 7 hotel, which means a free night will cost you 30,000 Hyatt points. So the Ink Business Preferred sign-up bonus is enough for 2 nights. And after meeting minimum spending requirements on the card, you’ll be just shy of enough points for a 3rd night!
Room nights at this hotel typically cost ~$1,000 if you pay cash. For example, I found a 2 night stay from January 5, 2018, to January 7, 2018, which costs ~$2,000. So you could transfer 60,000 points from your Ink Business Preferred to save $2,000 and still have 20,000 points left over!

Because you can transfer the flexible Chase Ultimate Rewards points you earn with the card to Hyatt. Then, book award stays at wonderful hotels like the Park Hyatt Sydney or Hyatt Centric Times Square.
And Hyatt has no blackout dates. This means you can redeem points for stays at hotels during popular travel times. For example, you can transfer 75,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Hyatt to save ~$2,700 on a 5-night stay at the Hyatt Place Park City during the Sundance Film Festival.
What’s the most money you’ve saved on a Hyatt hotel stay by using your Chase Ultimate Rewards points?
