If you’re a new Chase Ritz-Carlton cardholder, you can earn 10,000 Ritz-Carlton bonus points by adding an authorized user to your account and making your first purchase (of any amount) within the first 3 months.
There’s no fee for adding an authorized user. So it’s a free way to earn extra points!
Remember to only add someone you trust as an authorized user. Because any charges on authorized user accounts are ultimately your responsibility.
Note: Even if you’re not eligible for other Chase cards because you’ve opened 5+ new cards in the past 24 months, you’re still eligible for the Ritz-Carlton card.Earn the Sign-Up Bonus & Be an Authorized User
If you and a partner apply for credit cards together, you could potentially earn double the bonus.
For example, if you and your partner applied separately for the Chase Ritz-Carlton, you’d both be eligible to earn the 3 complimentary nights at participating Ritz-Carlton tier 1 through 4 hotels.
Then, to earn the 10,000 Ritz-Carlton points, add your partner as an authorized user. And he or she can add you to their account as an authorized user to earn an additional 10,000 Ritz-Carlton points.
In the end, you could have 6 complimentary nights at Ritz-Carlton hotels and 20,000 Ritz-Carlton points!
