The Chase Ink Business Cash card is now offering a $500 cash back sign-up bonus (50,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points) after spending $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months after account opening.  That’s an AWESOME deal for a card with no annual fee!

This card has great bonus categories to really help make the most of your rewards:

• 5% cash back (5X Chase Ultimate Rewards points per $1) on the first $25,000 spent in combined purchases at office supply stores and on phone, internet, and cable TV services each account anniversary year
• 2% cash back (2X Chase Ultimate Rewards points per $1) on the first $25,000 spent in combined purchases at gas stations and restaurants each account anniversary year
• 1% cash back (1X Chase Ultimate Rewards point per $1) on all other purchases with no limit

It’s easier to qualify for a business card than you think.  You can use your social security number to apply even if your business is only a small side gig like selling on eBay, tutoring, or providing child care.

How I Would Use 50,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards Points for a Long Weekend in Wine Country

What would be better than a long adults-only weekend in California wine country?  How about not paying a penny for your hotel room! 

I’d first transfer the 50,000-point sign-up bonus from the Chase Ink Business Cash to my Chase Sapphire Reserve card.

Then, after finding available award nights, I would transfer 48,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points to my Hyatt account.  The Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country costs only 12,000 Hyatt points per night, so my sign-up bonus could pay for 4 nights at this charming Tuscan-themed hotel in wine country – with points to spare!

This hotel costs over $400 per night in peak season – after adding in taxes and fees, the cost for 4 nights is ~$1,963!  That means I’d be getting almost 4X the value of the $500 bonus just by transferring my points to Hyatt!

What an amazing value using just one sign-up bonus from a no-annual-fee card.  That’s a smart way to use points for Big Travel with Small Money!

Bottom Line

The Chase Ink Business Cash card is now offering a $500 cash back bonus (50,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points) after spending $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.  This is a fantastic deal for a card with no annual fee!

If I earned this bonus, I would first combine the points to my Chase Sapphire Reserve.  Then, after finding available award nights, I’d transfer 48,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Hyatt for a 4-night stay at the Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country for a little parent’s getaway.

By transferring the points, I would be making the sign-up bonus ~4X more valuable.  That’s because I can get almost $2,000 in value from Hyatt instead of just $500 cash back.

Unfortunately, I can’t get this card right now because I am over Chase “5/24”.  This pesky little rule is delaying me from taking advantage of this amazing offer, but I hope it won’t keep you away!
