Only 5 minutes from downtown New Orleans, the Courtyard New Orleans Westbank / Gretna would be an excellent choice for a longer stay in this vibrant city.
You’ll be within a ~15 minute drive to popular spots like the Aquarium of the Americas and Jackson Square, in the famous French Quarter.
I found rooms at the Courtyard New Orleans Westbank / Gretna in September 2017, for ~$240 or 20,000 Marriott points per night. So you could get 6 free nights at this hotel with the 100,000 point sign-up bonus from the Chase Marriott card.

With the money you save, you could buy tickets to the popular Jazz & Heritage Festival. Or visit for a special occasion like Mardi Gras, and splurge on souvenirs!
