The best part about this offer is the card has NO ANNUAL FEE!  Most small business cards with large welcome bonuses typically have annual fees attached, but this card doesn’t which makes the offer even more attractive!

In order to get the card, you need to be a small business owner.  However, qualifying for a business credit card is easier than you think!  For example, I apply for small business cards using just my social security number and include income from side hustles like freelance writing and selling items on eBay.

I’d Use the 50,000-Point Bonus to Help Me Save on a Trip to Bora Bora!

I’m planning a trip to Bora Bora in November for my birthday.  You can’t fly non-stop to Bora Bora.  But you can fly from the West Coast to Tahiti.  Then, take a short flight to Bora Bora.

And starting October 30, 2018, United Airlines will launch a new non-stop flight from San Francisco to Tahiti.  And as I showed above, you can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points directly to United Airlines.

So, if I took advantage of the 50,000-point Ink Business Unlimited sign-up bonus, I’d move to the points to my Chase Sapphire Reserve or Ink Business Preferred account.  Then, transfer points to United Airlines to book a non-stop flight to Tahiti.  A low-level coach award seat costs 35,000 United Airlines miles each way.  So the Ink Business Unlimited sign-up bonus is more than enough to get me to Tahiti.  And I have United Airlines miles sitting in my account that could cover the return flight home!

A similar round-trip flight to Tahiti could cost more than $1,200 if you pay cash.  So using miles this way is a good deal and a nice way to save money!

The sign-up bonus can potentially get you much more than $500 worth of value.  Because if you have other Chase Ultimate Rewards point earning credit cards, like the Sapphire Preferred, Sapphire Reserve, or Ink Business Preferred, you can combine points and transfer them directly to airline and hotel partners, like Hyatt or United Airlines.

That’s exactly how I’d use the Ink Business Unlimited sign-up bonus!  I’d move the points to my Sapphire Reserve account.  Then, transfer points directly to United Airlines to book an award flight to Tahiti.  I’m hoping to visit Bora Bora in November and you have to travel to Tahiti to get there.  A low-level Saver award flight to Tahiti only costs 35,000 United Airlines miles.  So the Ink Business Unlimited bonus covers at least part of the award.  And I have points from other cards that would cover the return flight home!
