About the Chase Ritz-Carlton Card

The previous sign-up bonus for the Chase Ritz-Carlton card was 1 free night at a tier 1 to 4 Ritz-Carlton hotel.

But now there’s a better offer for 2 free nights at participating Ritz-Carlton tier 1 through 4 hotels after spending $4,000 on purchases within the 1st 3 months of account opening.  You’ll also earn:

  • 5X points at Ritz-Carlton and Marriott hotels
  • 2X points on flights purchased directly from airline, rental cars, and restaurants
  • Upgrade to the Ritz-Carlton Club Level 3 times annually on paid stays up to 7 nights
  • $300 annual travel credit for baggage fees, Global Entry fees, seat upgrades, airport lounges, and more
  • Lounge Club membership
  • $100 hotel credit for dining, spa or other recreational activities with each paid stay of 2 nights or longer at participating Ritz-Carlton hotels
  • Gold elite status at Ritz-Carlton & Marriott (after the 1st year you have to spend $10,000 on the card to keep Gold status)
  • 10% bonus points premium earned through card purchases each calendar year
  • $395 annual fee

The $395 annual fee is NOT waived.

But the $300 statement credit for airline incidentals, and $100 hotel credit effectively cancel out this fee.

Hit the Slopes in Northern California at the Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe

Or you could ski this winter at numerous slopes around The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe.

I called Ritz-Carlton Rewards to find out which hotels participate.  The representative I spoke to said the e-certificates are valid at all tier 1 through 4 hotels except Ritz-Carlton Reserve hotels and The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore.

So the bonus is good at all of the tier 1 through 4 hotels you’ll find on the Ritz-Carlton website.

Ritz-Carlton Hotels Can Be Pricey! Easily Save Over $1,000 With the New Sign-Up Bonus

If you want Big Travel with Small Money, you’ll be able to save well over $1,000 with your 2 free nights!

Keep in mind that even though the $395 annual fee isn’t waived, you’ll get $300 in travel credits toward baggage fees, Global Entry fees, seat upgrades, and airport lounge membership.

So if you want to sign-up for Global Entry (which includes TSA PreCheck), this is a great way to get it reimbursed.

And, you’ll get a $100 hotel credit on a paid stay of 2 nights or more, which you can use for dining, spa, or other recreational activities.

Those credits cancel out the annual fee when you use them.  So this card is a great way to earn 2 nights at luxury hotels, and to get travel credits!

Bottom Line

There’s a better offer for the Chase Ritz-Carlton card.  You’ll earn 2 free nights at participating Ritz-Carlton Tier 1 through 4 hotels after spending $4,000 in purchases within the 1st 3 months of opening your account.

That’s double the previous offer of 1 free night!

This can be a great deal for folks who stay at Ritz-Carlton hotels.  Even though the $395 annual fee is not waived, you can easily make up for it with the $300 statement credit for airline incidentals, Global Entry, other travel fees, and a $100 hotel credit when you pay for at least 2 nights at a Ritz-Carlton hotel.

Emily and I don’t receive a commission on this offer, but we’ll always let you know when there’s a better deal!
