For a limited time, World of Hyatt is giving folks the opportunity to earn between 500 and 1,000 Hyatt points per eligible night at Hyatt.  Including award nights!  Here’s what you need to know:

  • You must register by March 31, 2018
  • You must complete your stay by May 15, 2018
  • You can earn a maximum of 25,000 bonus Hyatt points with this promotion
  • You’ll only earn the bonus for the room you are staying in (you can book multiple rooms)

You’ll get a 500 Hyatt point bonus per eligible stayed at:

And you’ll earn 1,000 bonus Hyatt points per night at all other Hyatt hotels, including:

Is This a Good Deal?

Because you can earn the bonus on award nights, this could be a great way to stretch your points further!  Category 1 Hyatt hotels only cost 5,000 Hyatt points per night.  While most Category 1 hotels are either Hyatt Place or Hyatt House hotels, there are 30+ Category 1 Hyatt hotels that will earn 1,000 bonus Hyatt points per night!  So you’ll be able to book award nights for only 4,000 Hyatt points once you include the bonus!

But Category 1 Hyatt hotels are few and far between, so for most folks it’s not worth going out of your way to take advantage of this promotion.  If you plan to stay at a Hyatt hotel anyway, registering is a no-brainer.  Just take a look at other current hotel promotions, to make sure there isn’t a deal that better fits your goals!

Hyatt is my favorite hotel chain.  I consider them to have the best balance of value and comfort.  And I love to transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Hyatt for free hotel stays.

Remember, you can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Hyatt for an award stay if you have the Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Sapphire Preferred Card, Ink Business Preferred Credit Card, or (no longer offered) Ink Bold card or Ink Plus card.

And if you have one of the cards listed above, you can indirectly transfer points earned from the Chase Freedom, Chase Freedom Unlimited, and Ink Business Cash Credit Card too!

You can also open the Chase Hyatt card to earn a bunch of Hyatt points in a hurry!  This card is NOT affected by Chase’s strict application rules.

Bottom Line

Hyatt has announced a new promotion!

You’ll get 500 Hyatt points per eligible night stayed at a Hyatt House or Hyatt Place hotel.  And you’ll earn 1,000 Hyatt points per night at all other Hyatt brands.  But you must register by March 31, 2018, and complete your stays by May 15, 2018.

And the best part is, award stays earn the bonus too!  But you can only earn a total of 25,000 Hyatt points during the promotion.
