AMEX has plans to launch a new card in the near future! There’s plenty we don’t yet know about the AMEX Amazon small business card, but we’ll keep you in the loop as we receive the details.

Here’s what we know so far!
New Amazon Credit Card From American Express
We don’t yet know exactly when you’ll be able to apply for the new AMEX Amazon card, but we know it will be targeted at small businesses. According to the press release:
The new cobranded card will enhance the way small businesses buy goods and services across Amazon.
As for the key details, like the card’s welcome offer and bonus categories, they’re still a mystery.
For context, the Chase Amazon Prime Rewards personal credit card comes with a $70 Amazon gift card upon approval. It also earns:
- 5% back on all Amazon purchases if you have an Amazon Prime membership (otherwise 3% back)
- 5% back at Whole Foods Market
- 2% back at restaurants, gas stations, and drugstores
- 1% back on all other purchases
- NO foreign transaction fees
- NO annual fee
So this upcoming small business card could be similar, but with bonus categories geared more toward businesses.
It’s always good news when a bank issues new credit cards! It gives us more chances to earn valuable intro offers. And it makes the credit card industry more competitive.
