Have a paid hotel stay coming up? Check your AMEX card(s) to see if you’re targeted for this latest AMEX Offer!
With this deal, you’ll get a $100 statement credit when you spend $600+ in a single purchase on a prepaid hotel booking through AmexTravel.com. The offer expires October 12, 2018.
Other restrictions include:
- Excludes Fine Hotels & Resorts bookings
- Not valid at American Express Travel offices, for Car or Cruise bookings, phone orders, transactions made via online chat or for the flight portion of a flight+hotel package
I checked my Business Platinum® Card from American Express and found I was targeted. I don’t have a specific use for the deal in mind, but I always add offers when I see them. Because you never know when the opportunity to travel might come up!
Just remember, the ability to add the same AMEX Offer to multiple cards is now dead. You can only add each AMEX Offer to a single card, regardless of how many AMEX cards you have. So if you’re targeted on multiple AMEX cards, make sure to chose the one that will get you the most bang for your buck.
In this particular case, using The Platinum Card® from American Express or the AMEX Business Platinum card would make the most sense, because you’ll earn 5x AMEX Membership Rewards points booking prepaid hotels through the AMEX travel portal.
Were you targeted for this AMEX Offer? And if so, how do you plan on making the most of it?
