If you’re in the market for a hotel credit card that has no annual fee you’re in luck because right now the Marriott Bonvoy Bold™ Credit Card has an increased welcome offer. You can earn 50,000 bonus points after spending $2,000 on purchases in the first three months after opening the account. That matches the highest offer this card has ever had.
You can apply for the Marriott Bonvoy Bold card here.
That’s enough Marriott points for a free night at any Marriott hotel up to a Category 6 standard night. The Marriott brands cover everything from luxury hotels (Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis) to hotels that are great for extended stays (TownPlace suites, Residence Inn) and there are around 7,000 locations worldwide. So there is bound to be Marriott wherever you go.
Marriott Bonvoy Bold 50,000-point offer
The Chase Marriott Bonvoy Bold doesn’t have the same high-value perks at the other Marriott credit cards, But it can still be worth it because it has no annual fee. For example, every year you keep the card you’ll get 15 elite night credits, which is good for Silver Marriott Bonvoy elite status. Silver status doesn’t get you a ton of perks, but 15 elite night credits is a nice head start on earning Gold or Platinum status with Marriott. You normally need 25 nights to earn Gold and 50 nights for Platinum, so just having the Bonvoy Bold card cuts those numbers down to 10 and 35.
This card also has no foreign transaction fees and earns 3x points at participating Marriott Bonvoy hotels, 2x points on travel purchases and 1x points on all other spending. You’ll also get some potentially useful travel protections, like trip delay reimbursement, lost baggage coverage and baggage delay insurance.
To learn more about this card read our Chase Marriott Bonvoy Bold review. If you plan on applying, don’t forget that as a Chase credit card is it subject to the Chase 5/24 rule.
