It’s been months since Chase has allowed folks to reserve anything Disney-oriented with Chase Ultimate Rewards points through the Chase Travel Portal.

That’s a big deal, because Million Mile Secrets readers LOVE Disney.  And using Chase Ultimate Rewards points for Disney tickets, hotels, and packages is an excellent way to plan a trip to the Magic Kingdom for cheap.

Fortunately, you can once again purchase Disney park tickets through the Chase Travel Portal.  But right now you can do it only if you have the Chase Sapphire Reserve.

You Can Once Again Use Chase Ultimate Rewards Points to Do Disney on the Cheap

Use Chase Ultimate Rewards Points for Disney Park Tickets

Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders can click on the “Things to Do” tab of the Chase Travel Portal’s travel section to search for Disney park tickets.  You’ll receive a value of 1.5 cents per point for your travel purchase through the portal.

However, Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card and Ink Business Preferred℠ Credit Card cardholders do NOT have access to Disney through the portal.  This problem will hopefully be fixed in the near future, though Chase hasn’t addressed it.

Another bummer is you can’t currently book Disney hotels or packages through the portal.  Again, we’re hoping this is a temporary problem.  But for now you can book these hotels near Disney World with hotel points.

And there are plenty of other ways to save money on your Disney vacation with Chase Ultimate Rewards points.  You can redeem them through the Chase Portal or transfer them to Hyatt for nearby hotel stays.  And you can transfer them to airlines like Southwest and United Airlines to fly there for free!

Do you use Chase Ultimate Rewards points for Disney getaways?
