Save up to $50 at Amazon with this Discover promo (Targeted)
Signing up for credit cards through partner links earns us a commission. Terms apply to the offers listed on this page. Here’s our full advertising policy: How we make money.
Update: One or more card offers in this post are no longer available. Check our Hot Deals for the latest offers.Normally, we focus on writing up travel credit card deals, but anytime you can save at Amazon we like to pass the information along. If you’ve got a card that earns Discover rewards, like the Discover it® Miles, you can get up to 20% cash back on qualifying Amazon purchases, up to $50 max. You need to have your card registered with Amazon Shop with points and use at least one Discover point/mile to get the discount.
This promotion expires on Dec. 2nd 2019 and is targeted, so it’s worth taking a second to see if you’re eligible.
The information for the Discover it Miles card has been collected independently by Million Mile Secrets. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer. For more deals sign-up for our newsletter here.
Amazon Discover promo
You can use this link to check if you qualify for the deal. The discount will be applied at checkout and it only applies to items sold and shipped by Amazon (not including Amazon digital products or services).
One of the best parts of this deal is that you can use it to save on many third-party gift cards sold by Amazon, think Whole Foods, Starbucks, Southwest Airlines, Best Buy, Uber and more. So even if you don’t have anything to buy from Amazon right now, it could make sense to stock on gift cards before the deal goes away. You also only need to apply one point/mile to your order to get the discount, so you’re getting a value of up to $50 when using just one point or mile!
In the example below, the 20% discount has been applied to the Alexa in my Amazon cart, but not the used copy of “Lord of the Flies” (just preparing myself for Thanksgiving dinner with the family) because the book is not sold by Amazon. Also, there are items that qualify for Amazon Prime shipping, but aren’t sold by Amazon.
