Via Reddit, the Chase Fairmont is being discontinued. They’re officially NO longer accepting applications for the card, and the last known application link was taken down this afternoon. But Frequent Miler reports there’s still a working link!
I doubt the link will last long. So you’ll have to move fast if you’re interested!
This card is NOT affected by the Chase “5/24 rule”, so even folks who have applied for more than 5 cards from any bank (excluding certain business cards) in the past 24 months can be approved.
We don’t earn a commission on this card, but we’ll always let you know about important changes to our miles & points hobby!
I’ll show you why this card is worth a look!
Last Chance to Apply for the Chase Fairmont Visa!

Chase is putting the Fairmont Visa out to pasture.
I suspected this would happen eventually, because Fairmont has been bought by Accor Hotels. This could be the reason we’re seeing the Chase Fairmont Visa card disappear. But there is still time to apply for this valuable credit card!
You’ll earn 2 complimentary nights at Fairmont hotels after spending $3,000 on purchases within the first 3 months of account opening. You’ll also get Fairmont Premier status, which comes with:
- 1 free room upgrade (valid for a stay of up to 5 nights)
- 1 free suite upgrade (valid for a stay of up to 5 nights)
- 1 3rd night free certificate
- 2 $25 dining certificates
You’ll also get 1 complimentary night each card anniversary year you make $12,000 in purchases with your card. It has NO foreign transaction fees, and the $95 annual fee is waived the first year.
There are lots of ways to get Big Travel from this card. You can get thousands of dollars from the sign-up bonus by combining your certificates.
For example, you can combine your suite upgrade with your 2 free nights for 2 free suite nights! Or you can combine your suite upgrade and 3rd night free certificate with the 4th night free benefit of the Citi Prestige Card, and get 4 nights in a suite for the price of 2 nights in a standard room!
Fairmont doesn’t have very many hotels, (~80 hotels worldwide), but they are always top-notch! If you are traveling to a place where there is a Fairmont hotel, you can get huge value from this card’s sign-up bonus!
Note: This is NOT a good card for folks who are new in the miles & points world. Because this card will count against you if you wanted to open more valuable Chase cards in the future, like the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card, or Ink Business Preferred Credit Card. There are terms & conditions to using the free night certificates and room upgrades. Some hotels have blackout dates, and some hotels don’t participate. You can check out this FlyerTalk thread for everything you need to know about the Fairmont Visa Signature.
Bottom Line
The Chase Fairmont Visa is being retired. But you can still apply before it’s too late! I don’t know how long this application link will last.
This card’s sign-up bonus gives you an opportunity to stay 2 nights in a hotel suite for FREE. Because of this, the sign-up bonus alone can be worth thousands!
Emily and I don’t earn a commission from this card, but we’ll always tell you about the best deals!
Let me know if you jump on this card before it’s gone!
