How soon do the 2 free night certificates post after meeting the spending requirements on the The Hyatt Credit Card?
The free night certificates typically post to your Hyatt loyalty account a few days after the statement close date in which you meet the spending requirement. And you have 12 months from the date they’re issued to redeem them.
The Chase Hyatt card can be extremely valuable! Because you can use the certificates at ANY Hyatt hotel in the world, including all-inclusive resorts like the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos.
I’ll remind y’all about the Chase Hyatt card offer. And let you know when to expect the free night certificates!

With the Chase Hyatt card, you’ll earn 2 free nights at ANY Hyatt hotel after spending $2,000 on purchases in the first 3 months of account opening.
And 5,000 bonus Hyatt points when you add an authorized user and make a purchase within the same timeframe.
Emily and I love Hyatt! Because Hyatt points go further than most hotel points.
And they have incredible hotels all over the world. You can redeem Hyatt points for free stays at these brands:
- Andaz
- Grand Hyatt
- Hyatt
- Hyatt Centric
- Hyatt House
- Hyatt Place
- Hyatt Regency
- Hyatt Zilara and Hyatt Ziva (all-inclusive)
- Park Hyatt
- The Unbound Collection
And Hyatt is a Chase Ultimate Rewards transfer partner. So if you’re short on points for an award stay, you can transfer points at a 1:1 ratio to top off your account!

The free night certificates typically post to your Hyatt account a few days after the statement close date in which you meet the spending requirement.
So even if you complete the spending requirements on the first day you get the card, you still have to wait for the billing cycle to end.
To check your statement close date, you can log into your Chase account.
Then, after your statement period closes, you can log into your Hyatt account. Under the “My Awards” tab, you will see if the 2 free night certificates have posted.
Watch out for emails too. Because Hyatt will send you a message once the free night certificates are available to use.
Remember, you can use the free night certificates to book a stay at ANY Hyatt hotel. Most redemptions can be done online. But you have to call Hyatt at 800-228-3360 to use the certificate at an all-inclusive hotel.
Don’t forget, there’s a trick to secure an award stay for your desired travel dates. You can book with Hyatt points. Then, cancel and rebook using your free night certificates.
Bottom Line
The sign-up bonus on the Chase Hyatt card can be extremely valuable. Because you can earn 2 free nights at ANY Hyatt hotel after spending $2,000 on purchases in the first 3 months.
Then, redeem the free nights for stays at the most luxurious Hyatt hotels. Or even their all-inclusive locations like the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos.
The free night certificates typically post to your Hyatt loyalty account a few days after the statement close date in which you meet the spending requirement.
Are you planning a stay with your Hyatt free night certificates?
