There’s a New “Deals” Tab On the Chase Ultimate Rewards Site, Making It Easier to Find Shopping Portal Bonuses!
Signing up for credit cards through partner links earns us a commission. Terms apply to the offers listed on this page. Here’s our full advertising policy: How we make money.
Update: One or more card offers in this post are no longer available. Check our Hot Deals for the latest offers.
Next time you log in to the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal you’ll see a new “Deals” tab in the upper right-hand corner of the homepage. This isn’t earth-shattering news, but it will make it easier for you to find gift card and shopping deals on the website.
Many of the best credit cards for travel are Chase Ultimate Rewards earning cards. So if you’re in the miles & points hobby, it’s likely you’ll use the Ultimate Rewards portal in one way or another. Especially because using the Chase shopping portal is a fantastic way to earn tons of bonus points for purchases you’re making anyway!
Many of us on the Million Mile Secrets team use the Ultimate Rewards shopping portal to rack up thousands of bonus points a year. But you definitely won’t see any of us trading in our coveted Ultimate Rewards points for gift cards. That’s because your points are worth much more when you use them to book travel through Chase’s travel portal. And potentially even more when you transfer them to hotel and airline partners like United Airlines and Hyatt!
Want to Earn More Chase Ultimate Rewards Points?
I wholeheartedly believe that flexible Chase Ultimate Rewards points are the most useful type of transferable credit cards points. Anyone looking to travel for nearly free should check out these offers:
Card | Sign-Up Bonus & Minimum Spending Requirements | Our Review | |
---|---|---|---|
Ink Business Preferred℠ Credit Card | 80,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points after spending $5,000 on purchases within the first 3 months of opening your account | Read why this is the top card pick for small business owners | |
Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card | 50,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points after spending $4,000 on purchases within the first 3 months of opening your account | The #1 card for beginners | |
Chase Sapphire Reserve | 50,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points after spending $4,000 on purchases within the first 3 months of opening your account | Lots of folks love this premium credit card because of the ongoing perks! |
If you qualify for small business credit cards, I’d strongly suggest applying for the Ink Business Preferred℠ Credit Card. It’s currently offering the biggest sign-up bonus of any of the Ultimate Rewards earning cards!
80,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points from the Ink Business Preferred is worth (at least) $1,000 in travel booked through the Chase Travel Portal, because each point is worth 1.25 cents when you book this way. This is a great way to plan a trip without thinking about blackout dates!
Or, you can get even more for your points by transferring to Chase’s terrific airline and hotel partners like United Airlines and Hyatt. I’ve personally saved THOUSANDS of dollars this year using Ultimate Rewards this way!
