I haven’t personally stayed at these hotels, but they look like fantastic spots for a romantic or celebratory getaway.
1. Renaissance Paris Arc de Triomphe Hotel
Paris is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway. And if you’re looking to splurge, consider 2 nights at the Renaissance Paris Arc de Triomphe Hotel.
It gets nearly all 5-star reviews on TripAdvisor because of its convenient location and outstanding service.
Rooms here in September 2017, cost ~$424 per night. Which can really add up if you’re staying multiple nights!
Instead, you could use the 100,000 Marriott points you earn from the sign-up bonus on the Chase Marriott card for 2 free nights. Because each night costs 45,000 Marriott points. Or transfer 30,000 Starwood points to 90,000 Marriott points for a free 2-night stay.

4. London Marriott Hotel Park Lane
Folks on TripAdvisor describe the London Marriott Hotel Park Lane as “elegant” and “outstanding.”
The hotel is located near Hyde Park. And it’s only a ~20 minute walk to Buckingham Palace. So it would be the perfect spot for a romantic getaway, like a honeymoon or anniversary.
Plus, you’ll enjoy 5-star amenities in the guest rooms, like luxury bedding and marble bathrooms. And folks with elite status can spend time in the executive lounge.
The cash cost of a room in September 2017, is ~$555. So redeeming points can be an excellent way to save money!

The Cotton House Hotel is only a few years old, and ranks highly with all kinds of travelers, especially couples! Folks love its location in the heart of Barcelona. It’s a 5-minute walk to Passeig de Gràcia, a primary shopping area, with some of the most iconic architecture in the city! And less than a 10-minute walk to La Rambla, a famous pedestrian strip with shops, restaurants, and performers. Also be sure to take the 10-minute walk to La Rambla, a famous pedestrian strip with great shops, restaurants, and performers. It’s a bit touristy, but definitely worth the visit!
7. Grand Bohemian Hotel Charleston, Autograph Collection
Charleston, South Carolina, is known for its history, architecture, and great beaches. If you’re planning a trip there and want to stay downtown, you could use Marriott points for free nights at the Grand Bohemian Hotel Charleston, Autograph Collection.
Located in the Historic District, you’ll be within walking distance to popular attractions like Marion Square and Waterfront Park. And just a few blocks from iconic King Street, where you can shop to your heart’s content!
