Miraval Resorts is a brand that is all about health and wellness, with top-notch fitness activities, spas, and treatments. And it now participates in the World of Hyatt program.

Earlier this year, Hyatt bought Miraval Resorts And as of today, Hyatt has integrated the brand into its loyalty program!

Now that Miraval is participating in the World of Hyatt program, folks can:

Earn 5 Base Points per $1 on qualifying stays and in-hotel purchases
Redeem Hyatt points for award nights on eligible stays and receive unlimited meals, snacks, and wellness activities and classes, and a $175 resort credit per person, per day
Enjoy elite status benefits like suite upgrades

It costs 45,000 Hyatt points per night for a standard room for single occupancy. And 75,000 Hyatt points per night for a suite. To add a second traveler costs 20,000 more Hyatt points!

You can also redeem Points + Cash for 22,500 Hyatt points and $450 for a single occupancy standard room. Or 32,500 Hyatt points and $550 for double occupancy. Ouch!

Through September 15, 2017, there are 2 Miraval offers that can make a stay here much more reasonable.

1. 4th Night Free Package

When you pay for 3 consecutive nights, you’ll receive the 4th night free! This package comes with:

$100 nightly resort credit to spend on the spa and activities
Unlimited meals and snacks, smoothies, and non-alcoholic beverages
Unlimited participation in daily yoga, meditation, and other classes and activities
Complimentary shared shuttle transfers from Tucson International Airport or complimentary valet parking for those driving in

2. 50% Rebate on Award Nights

You’ll get 50% off award nights when you book your stay with Hyatt points. So instead of paying 65,000 Hyatt points per night for you and a friend, you’ll only pay 32,500 Hyatt points.

Keep in mind that this is a points rebate. So you’ll need the full amount of points to book the room. And you’ll receive 50% of your points back after your stay.

Is This a Good Deal?

Generally, staying at the Miraval will NOT be the best use of Hyatt points. It costs much more than any other Hyatt hotel (category 7 hotels cost between 30,000 and 39,000 points per night).

Miraval Resorts Are About Healthy Food, Activities, and Surroundings to Promote Overall Wellness

Single occupancy rooms generally cost $525 after taxes & resort fees. And double occupancy rooms cost $915. So you’ll get a value of ~1.1 to ~1.4 cents per Hyatt point ($915 for a double occupancy room / 65,000 Hyatt points).

However, with the current 50% points rebate running through September 15, 2017, this could be a nice deal! Instead of paying 65,000 for double occupancy, you’ll pay 32,500 points, and get a value of ~2.8 cents per point ($915 for a double occupancy room / 32,500 Hyatt points).

The Chase Hyatt 2 free nights offer disappeared yesterday. But if you applied for the card before the change, I’m hopeful you can use your 2 free nights at the Miraval. Because you can use your 2 free Hyatt nights at ANY Hyatt hotel around the world, including hotels that participate in the Hyatt program, like Mlife hotels!

Bottom Line

Starting today, you can earn and redeem Hyatt points at Miraval Resorts. But it costs a lot of Hyatt points!

However, there is a deal running through September 15, 2017, that gives folks a 50% rebate on the points they redeem with Miraval! So if you’d like to stay here, make sure you redeem your points before this promotion goes away!
