Earning credit card sign-up bonuses is the easiest way to get Big Travel with Small Money.

For example, a couple can get a hotel stay worth $4,000+ by earning just 1 card sign-up bonus each.  This is a great way to save money on a honeymoon!

The deal is you can apply for The Hyatt Credit Card and earn 2 free nights at ANY Hyatt hotel in the world.  And your partner can do the same.

Together, you’ll be able to book 4 consecutive nights at amazing hotels around the world, like the luxurious Park Hyatt Paris-Vendome.

If You’re Planning a Honeymoon to the City of Love, You and Your Partner Can Each Get the Chase Hyatt Card to Get 4 Free Nights Worth Thousands of Dollars!

I’ll share how the Chase Hyatt card is ideal for folks looking to save lots of money on a luxurious honeymoon!

With the Chase Hyatt card, you can earn 2 free nights at any Hyatt hotel after you spend $2,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from opening your account.  You can also earn 5,000 more points when you add an authorized user who makes a purchase with your card within the first 3 months.

And there’s another version of the offer that offers a $50 statement credit after your first purchase.  But does NOT come with extra points for adding an authorized user.  I’d personally rather have 5,000 extra Hyatt points.  But as always, do what’s best for you.

Whichever you choose, this is a very valuable sign-up bonus.  Because you can use the free night certificates at the most expensive Hyatt hotels, like the Park Hyatt Sydney where room nights can cost ~$1,000+ if you pay cash.

And when you are your partner both apply for the Chase Hyatt card and meet the spending requirements, you’ll have a total of 4 free night certificates.

This card is NOT impacted by Chase’s tougher application rules.  So even if you’ve had ~5 or more new credit cards in the past 24 months, it’s still possible to get approved for the Chase Hyatt card.

Keep in mind, it’s not guaranteed you’ll get approved because the bank reviews each application on a case-by-case basis.

3 Hyatt Hotels for a Honeymoon

I love Hyatt because in the past, Emily and I have used points at many of their brands, which include:

Staying at a luxurious and expensive hotel can be a great way to get the most value for your free night certificates during your honeymoon.  But you might also consider a hotel that’s cheaper in a location you really want to visit!

1.   Park Hyatt Maldives

The Maldives is a popular honeymoon destination because of the crystal blue waters and white sand beaches.

You can use the free night certificates for a stay at the Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa, which is located on its own private island.

A 4-night stay here in October 2017 costs ~$4,700!  So using the certificates is a great way to save a lot of money.  And you will NOT have to pay any taxes or resort fees when using Hyatt points.

2.   Park Hyatt Zurich

If you’re planning a honeymoon to Europe, you could redeem the 4 free night certificates at the Park Hyatt Zurich.

This is a great honeymoon hotel for foodies because of the Masters of Food & Wine program where you can interact with top chefs!

Emily and I enjoyed our stay here because of its excellent location near Lake Zurich and the main shopping street, Bahnhofstrasse.  And the service at the hotel was amazing!

I found a 4-night stay here in July 2017 for ~$2,800.  So earning 2 Chase Hyatt card sign-up bonuses is a great way to save money.

3.   Hyatt Zilara Cancun

Folks looking for an all-inclusive honeymoon might consider using the free night certificates at the Hyatt Zilara Cancun.

The hotel is located along the beach and is only a ~5 minute taxi from the main nightlife area in Cancun.

Million Mile Secrets team member Scott stayed at this hotel.  Although it wasn’t for a honeymoon, he says the hotel is gorgeous with a wide variety of food options, and a beautiful beach.  Plus, they serve top-shelf alcohol, so you can celebrate your honeymoon with a fancy cocktail!

A 4-night stay at the hotel in June 2017 costs ~$2,000+.  Using the free night certificates for a 4-night all-inclusive experience can be a great deal!

Note:  You can NOT reserve all-inclusive award nights online.  Call Hyatt at 800-228-3360 to book your award stay.

Which of these cards gives you six times the points with grocery shopping? Thank you

Because these certificates are so valuable I would recommend having a plan of where to use prior to applying for the card. They do expire!

We not only use the four free nights at the Park Hyatt in Paris but we used 5000 points from signing up for second card to stay at the Hyatt place in Sanford next to the airport. And they had a great free breakfast and a free shuttle to the airport! Because it was an 8 o’clock flight it kept us from having to get up at 4 AM to drive there in time to drop off our guests.

Thanks for sharing your experience, Jim!
