  3. I’ve had a Hyatt card for 5 years, but I think this would be a good time to (1) cancel the card (annual fee due on current statement) and (2) re-apply for a new Hyatt card with the $50 statement credit. My question is: How much time should I allow between steps (1) and (2)? Does Chase want to see a minimum interval between ownership of the same product? I know Citi wants 2 years, but as far as I know Chase only cares about the interval between bonuses. Any insights would be appreciated.

  4. In the past they’ve offer a first-year waiver of the annual fee, however, it’s now $75 and NOT waived. So, you’ll be out $25 with this current offer. FYI.

  5. 2 nights in any Hyatt worldwide should be worth at least $25.

  6. Would they match this if I just got the card in August?
