Good news for folks who use T-Mobile!  Via One Mile at a Time, T-Mobile customers will get 1 hour of Gogo in-flight Wi-Fi for FREE on all flights (where Gogo is available) starting June 13, 2016.

Plus, you’ll get unlimited messaging too!

Free In-Flight Wi-Fi For T-Mobile Customers

T-Mobile Customers Will Soon Get 1 Hour of Gogo In-Flight Wi-Fi for Free, on Every Flight Where Gogo Is Available!

Here’s more about this new perk.

Free Wi-Fi During Your Flights!

I’ve written about different ways to get free in-flight Wi-Fi.  And now, T-Mobile customers will get 1 hour of free in-flight Wi-Fi from Gogo on every flight that has Gogo service.

That’s a good deal, because most large US airlines use Gogo for their in-flight internet!

Usually, 1 hour costs ~$5 and a day pass is ~$16.  So you’ll save money with this new perk.

Not only that, folks with T-Mobile service will get unlimited messaging on flights through text, iMessage, Google Hangouts, WhatsApp, and Viber.

So you’ll be able to stay in-touch with friends and family during your entire flight! 🙂

Don’t forget, certain T-Mobile plans also allow free calls and text messages from Mexico and Canada.  So if you travel a lot to these destinations, T-Mobile is a good cellular provider to consider.

Cards That Give You Free In-Flight Internet

For folks without T-Mobile, there are a few credit cards that offer perks like credits towards the purchase of in-flight Wi-Fi or in-flight internet vouchers.

With the Discover it Miles card, you’ll get up to $30 per cardmember year for in-flight Wi-Fi purchases.

The Enhanced Business Platinum Card from American Express OPEN comes with free Boingo internet at places like airports, malls, and attractions.  And 10 Gogo in-flight internet passes each year.

And US Bank FlexPerks Travel Rewards cardholders can get 12 Gogo in-flight Wi-Fi passes per year.

  1. Hello Daraius,

I really enjoy your helpful posts everyday. Thanks so much!
Today I have a question regarding the Starwood Preferred Guest credit card from American Express I recently applied.
My card was approved on March 1, however, unfortunately, I couldn’t use the new card to make $3,000 in purchases within the first 3 months – I could only spend approx. $2,400 (this is true because I calculated the total amount).
However, last week I confirmed that 25,000 bonus Starpoints have been credited to my spg account!
Do you know why I received the bonus points?
Have you yourself or your readers experienced this kind of thing?
I could already redeem some points from the bonus Starpoints in my account to book 3 hotels for our upcoming trip this month.
My concern is … they may void those points without notifications right before my trip, or I don’t know.
I am so confused – please help!
