1. Save $40 on a $200+ Hilton Garden Inn Stay
This offer only applies to hotels in the US. And you must book directly with the hotel via the website, Hilton HHonors phone app, or by calling directly, to earn the statement credit.
Enrollment is limited, so add this offer to your card if you’re interested! Check your AMEX account for the deal, or tweet @AmexOffers including hashtag “#AmexHgi” with your synced AMEX account.
This is an easy way to save money if you have a hotel stay coming up in the next couple of months!
2. Get $200 Back After Spending $1,000+ on KLM Flights
Running With Miles also reports another AMEX Offer for a $200 statement credit when you spend $1,000+ on KLM flights in a single transaction.
You must book the flights on KLM’s US website by April 8, 2016, to earn the credit. Flights must originate within the US (including Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, and US territories).
This is a fantastic deal if you can find a cheap flight on KLM! For example, two $500 round-trip flights to Europe would cost $400 each after the statement credit is applied.
Check your AMEX account for the offer, or tweet @AmexOffers with your synced Twitter account, including hashtag “#AmexKLM“.
Remember, KLM is included in monthly Flying Blue Promo Awards. So you could use your AMEX card to get a deal on the taxes and fees, if you want to book award flights to take the family to Europe. Just remember, the purchase must be at least $1,000 in 1 transaction!
The Premier Rewards Gold Card from American Express earns 3X AMEX Membership Rewards points per $1 spent on flights booked directly with the airline. Folks with that card could use this deal AND earn a lot of bonus points!
3. Save $15 When You Use PayPal to Spend $15+ at 1800Flowers.com
Check your PayPal account to see if you’ve been targeted to save $15 on a $15+ purchase at 1800Flowers.com. The terms say:
“Offer valid for users transacting with a PayPal account with qualifying offer. Offer available online only. Offer valid until end date specified in the offer in your Paypal account.”
I wasn’t able to find this offer in my PayPal account, although I saw many others for 1800Flowers.com. Perhaps you’ll have better luck!
To check, log into your PayPal account and click the “Shop” tab. You may have to click “See More” at the bottom of the page before the offer appears.
This is a fantastic deal! Especially if you have money left in your PayPal account after paying your rent each month.
And if not, this is still a great way to send flowers to your Mom or special sweetheart for Valentine’s Day. 🙂
4. Earn 2,000 Southwest Points When You Rent With Hertz
When you rent with Hertz for 3 or more days, you’ll earn 2,000 Southwest points. To get the deal, you must book by February 29, 2016, and pick up your rental by April 30, 2016.
You must use CDP “205418“, and Promotion Code “105011” to get the deal, along with your Southwest frequent flyer number. Or simply use this link to begin your booking.
Any rental qualifies for the offer. And you may even save up to 35% on the time and mileage charges when you book. There might also be a “Frequent Flyer Surcharge” of $1 per day, up a maximum of $4 per rental. So be sure to check the terms.
You’ll earn 600 base Southwest points and 1,400 bonus points on your rental. Keep in mind the bonus points do NOT count toward the Southwest Companion Pass. But 2,000 Southwest points are worth between ~$29 and ~$34. So if you were planning to rent a car through Hertz anyway, this is an easy way to earn extra Southwest points!
