  1. Do you know if you can redeem more than one giftcard per stay?

  2. No gift card resell sites will buy Airbnb if you try to go that route. Airbnb gift cards are only electronic. Don’t think Ebay allows sales of electronic gift cards either, unless you ARE Paypal.

If you do sync or Twitter this offer to multiple cards and expect to stack them for one trip, you may be disappointed. Apparently you can only use one gift card code per rental. Policy or system restrictions. Could there be a way to have AirBNB combine gift card balances prior to renting? That would mean cancelling all the gift card codes and them issuing you one new one. Not sure if they would do that.

  3. Can Amex Serve cards be registered? I tried to do it but it comes back and says Serve cards cannot be registered. I just thought perhaps there is some backdoor method or possible loophole to register a Serve card.

  4. I just tried to purchase and AirBnB gave me an error code that my currency (U$D) isn’t supported – I have a call into their customer service and they are going to check into it and call me back by the end of today.

  5. Can Bluebird be registered?

  6. I love the idea of Airbnb. In fact I just came away from a 3 day stay in Ireland with Airbnb. That said, they have THE WORST customer service of any company today. Pray you do not have a problem. I had no problems with hosts, just their website!

As of a few days ago you cannot use more than 1 gift card per transaction. And when I called to ask what happens to the balance I was told “we think of gift cards as a one time use” and then was told maybe there was a way to get the balance back. They have a webpage to add your gift card to your account and of course it doesn’t work. They tell you to enter the gift card as a coupon, yes a one-time coupon, which means the $20 or $25 referral bonus YOU CANNOT use with a gift card. Sure I called customer service about this and they say too bad. Their website and customer service operates like a fly by night operation. How a company this big has this bad of a website and customer service is impressive, even rivaling skype in my opinion.

Also their website says the referral bonus is for $75 or more on a property. In my experience it was $77 or more BEFORE TAXES AND FEES which change daily, depending on how hungry their website is that day!

    Good luck!

  9. When I purchased my gift card it’s posting as $1.00 on Airbnb and $100 on Braintree.com. Didn’t see the post that I used the offer. Does it just take a while to approve?

  10. You can’t send a gift card to yourself on the AirBNB site. They don’t allow you to have more than one account. Is there a way to buy a gift card for future use without resorting to buying gift cards for friends or family members?

  12. Just some info. I bought a $100 gift card, sent it to my husband. But didn’t see a credit applied to I contacted AMEX. They said that the charge didn’t apply. I explained that I bought the gift card on the Airbnb site and it was after I applied the offer to my account. He said that he will escalate this to a different department and they will investigate. He said to contact them back in 7-10 business days. I am so confused on what is going on here!!!

  13. Any updates on Reward getting posted for the Airbnb Gift Card Purchase?

  14. I registered the card for this offer, then sent $100 gift card to my partner through Airbnb.com. 1 month later I still don’t see the credit. I contacted Amex and they told me the credit could take up to 90 days to show up. Based on my previous experience, Amex offer credit shows up quickly like within 1 week. This is frustrating and concerning that my credit still doesn’t show up 1 month later.

  15. I plan to spend 2500.00 on air bnb can I use 10 250.00 amex gift cards on one air bnb reservation.
