  1. Flew to Chicago on Southwest with points last weekend, also brought a friend free with my companion pass. However, flight was oversold and we gave up our seats for two flight vouchers totaling $850. My companion pass will double the value to $1700.

  2. What about the 3000 mile MileagePlus bonus?

  3. It should be noted that if you’ve already received the Lounge Club card with a particular Chase account, you won’t be able to get another and the one you have will expire on the date printed on the card. I had messed up and forgotten to get the Lounge Club card with one of my Chase accounts, so this was a nice bonus. I’ve found the various Lounge Clubs around the world to be far superior to most American or United domestic clubs; even after you’ve used the two free entries, they’re well worth paying $27 for since the ones I’ve used have real meals that you don’t have to pay for and, of course, the requisite booze, all of which is free. I’m really sorry Chase is dis-continuing this valuable perk.

  4. I just tried to sign up for the American Airlines dining bonus points from your link and the site says, “Sorry, registration for this bonus is closed.” How can it be closed when the deadline for signing up is June 30, which it states farther down in the link????????

Did they know that thousands of MillionMileSecrets readers would be signing up?!!!!!!

  5. Just confirming Bruce’s comments above. I received a letter from Chase yesterday stating that, “We’re writing to let you know that we are ending our LOUNGE CLUB program for Fairmont credit card customers. You can continue to use your current LOUNGE CLUB membership until it expires. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
