  1. Yay! Thank you! I was able to get a gift for my daughter’s birthday… This was not in my offers yesterday. 🙂

  2. YAY, I finally got targeted! Thanks for the heads up! 🙂

  3. Have 2 AMEX card, although one is only 3 weeks old. No offers on either.

  4. Got 20 $ of 40 $ in amazon and 25 $ of 25 $ in Costco. Thanks!

  5. No Amazon love here. And we have 6 cards! But, we did get the $75 HP and $25 Costco offers. Sweeeet.

  6. Got it on 1/5 cards, and thanks for the heads-up; I just checked my offers yesterday and probably would have missed this one!

  7. Got it on 5/5 cards! Strange thing was when signing up AU cards through their own logins, my wife’s SPG AU card did not have the offer while all other AU cards did and the main SPG card had the offer. I didn’t realize AU card accounts could have different offers than the main card. All in all 9/10 ain’t bad. Didn’t see any restriction on gift cards so I should clear quite a bit off this one.

  8. I got a targeted offer for Costco, and it wasn’t even on my Costco card but my SPG.

  9. @Seth – Don’t be surprised to find eight of the nine offers have disappeared after you save the first offer. That’s what happens to me. Let us know if you have a different experience.

  11. I’m pretty sure you can only get the offer once. I have 2 AMEX cards…a SPG personal and a SkyMiles Platinum. When I first checked the “Offers” page, I saw the offers for Amazon, Costco, Bonefish etc on both cards but once I “saved” the offers to my SPG card, they were no longer showing on the SkyMiles card.
Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

  12. Woo! Free $20! Offered on my SPG card, but not CostCo. Thanks for the heads up!

  13. I manage 10 different Amex cards between me, my husband, and my mom! (none of the 10 are AU cards..).. but only 1 of 10 got the Amex and NONE of 10 got Amazon.. no love 🙁

    But thanks for sharing!

  14. It is one offer per account. I have separate accounts for all of the cards and AU cards. You are correct that selecting the deal for one card on the account will make it go away for all other cards under that same account, bu that isn’t a problem if you have a bunch of user names with a single registered card under each.

  15. Loved this deal so posted a link from my blog! Thanks y’all!

  16. This is really embarrassing to admit but I don’t quite get “where” to find these offers. Are they coming in through your email?

  18. I saved this offer and went to amazon bought $40 two days ago, I didn’t get the email from American express, Usually you get an email alert right after you use your card, Now I’m worried that it didn’t go through and I’ll lose out on this deal.

  19. Do you have to purchase from Amazon or can it be another seller? And is shopping included in the price or is it before shipping and tax? Thanks!

  20. Thanks for your information. I was thinking that the email I got from Amex was a fraud because it was so poorly written. It said at the top to get the offer click “get offer.” But nowhere in the email was there a place to click that said “get offer.” There was a box labeled “shop now.” Obviously, that is the same idea, but I wondered if this were some poorly written scam from someone in India who was phishing for my credit card info.
