Step 4 – Wait for the $5 to Credit to Your AMEX Account

That’s it!  Make sure you keep your AMEX card linked to TripAdvisor until the $5 credit appears in you account.

  2. It appears as though the promotion was not extended as when you click on the link, you are offered this instead, “Unlock a $50 statement credit after you join and book a stay on amextravel.com”

  3. I created like 10 Trip advisor account to link with my amex and wrote reviews, but didnt get any of the credits. I think they detected my reviews to be generated or something :)) But strangely a month later I received a portable reserve charger (30$?) from Amex + TripAdvisor, in a very well wrapped gift

  4. Same here. I’m able to login, synch and make a review, but no mention or graphics indicating anything about a $5 credit. I posted two reviews, so we’ll see if I get a $5 credit in a few weeks or so.

  5. I registered my amex card and went to trip advisor and wrote the review. Only then did I come across mention of a amex trip advisor section. Too late to mend I think, unless I go somewhere worthwhild in the next month. VAP

  6. I clicked on the link that was provided above and it took me to the page that you show up top but it says ” Unlock a $50 statement credit after you join and book a stay on amextravel.com”. No mention of the $5 credit. I did, however, write a review just in case the $5 credit promotion is still going on.

  7. I did this awhile ago and finally my credit posted last week.

Did anybody sign up for the $50 credit with a booking?
