Happy Thanksgiving!

Another year has gone by, and Emily and I have again used our miles & points to visit her family on Thanksgiving.

I’m so very lucky and fortunate for everything in my life – from Emily to my parents and our families, to all of you reading the blog!  Last year, I asked the woman I love to marry me, and she said yes!  This year, we got married and went on two romantic honeymoons to Paris and Bora Bora.

Also, I couldn’t have better readers – readers who share their experience and tips and tricks with not only me, but with everyone else in the comments.

Today is a good reminder of why we collect miles and points.  To make memories & spend quality time with friends and family.

The miles and points deals will still be there when you return so take some time off and enjoy the time with others.  We sometimes get too worked up when things don’t go our way, but we forget the many times when they did work out.

Let’s spend today being thankful for all the times when things – not only miles and points related – did work out in our favor!

And thanks for being such terrific readers!

Happy Thanksgiving,

Daraius & Emily

Life is a gift & God’s greatest gift was Christ to the world. Hope we all truly realize we are all one heartbeat from eternity…eternity where is the question we all must ask.

  12. @Chaplain – You need to stop with that nonsense. We are all adults here and it is time grow up and rid ourselves of these harmful myths that continue to be used to suppress and injure our fellow man and woman. I have a reading suggestion for your next flight, Christopher Hitchens “god is not Great – How Religion Poisons Everything.” It is much more compelling read than the bible (from someone who has read both). Please move on already!

  13. Happy Thanksgiving Emily & Daraius.
