Via One Mile at a Time, you’ll get a 33% bonus when transferring AMEX Membership Rewards to Hilton through December 15, 2017. That means for every 1,000 AMEX Membership Rewards points you transfer, you’ll receive 2,010 Hilton points!
That sounds like a good deal, but I’ll explain why most folks should NOT use this promotion.
33% Transfer Bonus to Hilton

Through December 15, 2017, you’ll get a 33% bonus when you transfer AMEX Membership Rewards points to Hilton points.
The normal transfer ratio between AMEX and Hilton is 1:1.5 (1 AMEX Membership Rewards point = 1.5 Hilton points). But with this limited-time bonus, the transfer ratio improves to ~1:2. The bonus will be instantly applied when you transfer your points.
Is It Worth It?
I usually don’t recommend transferring American Express Membership Rewards points to Hilton. Because you can get much more value by transferring them to airlines like British Airways, Delta, and JetBlue!
For example, you can transfer 9,000 AMEX Membership Rewards points to Delta for a one-way coach flight from Calgary to Miami.
Plus, there are lots of other ways to earn Hilton points! So transferring AMEX Membership Rewards points to Hilton should be a last resort.
However, if you need to quickly top-off your Hilton account for a particular award, this could make sense.
Bottom Line
Until December 15, 2017, you’ll get a 33% bonus when transferring AMEX Membership Rewards points to Hilton. So for every 1,000 AMEX Membership Rewards points you transfer, you’ll receive 2,010 Hilton points.
In most cases, I do NOT recommend transferring AMEX Membership Rewards points to Hilton, because they’re much more valuable when you transfer them to airlines. Plus, Hilton points are relatively easy to earn.
