Through Jan. 31st 2020, United Airlines is running its Mile Play promotion. This is a targeted offer, so not everyone is eligible and the exact offer varies by account.

I was targeted and can earn 7,600 bonus miles, but my wife’s account wasn’t targeted. I’ll share the details of this deal and to continue getting the best miles & points travel deals delivered to you – subscribe to our newsletter.

United Airlines Mile Play promotion

If you’re targeted it’s important to note that only activities booked after you register (and completed by Jan. 31st) will count toward the promotion.

Plus, each offer is a bit different so be sure to read the specific terms. My offer was for 7,600 United Airlines miles after booking and completing one United Airlines flight by Jan. 31st 2020. But the flight must cost at least $200 to qualify for the bonus.

Other offers that accounts have been targeted with include:

  • Earn 4,700 miles after taking three trips costing $200+
  • Earn 2,500 miles after taking one trip costing $225+
  • Fly in Economy Plus one time and get 1,000 bonus miles
  • Earn 9,000 miles after booking one trip costing $225+
  • Earn 14,000 miles after taking three trips of $350+
  • Earn 2,500 miles after taking two trips of $275+
  • Earn 5,600 miles after taking two trips of $250+

In the past with this promotion people have been able to earn 10,000+ miles. But these bigger offers always come with more expensive or difficult tasks. For most people, this is a good promotion to sign-up for if you’re targeted and planned to complete the tasks anyway.
