Before you apply for a Southwest credit card, make sure you know Chase’s application rules.  If you’ve opened 5+ cards from any bank (NOT counting Chase business cards and these other business cards) in the past 24 months, it’s unlikely you’ll be approved for any of the Chase Southwest cards.

Note:   Chase small business cards won’t appear on your personal credit report.  So they do NOT count towards your “5/24” limit!  So if you’re under the “5/24” rule, I suggest applying for the Chase Southwest Premier Business card before applying for a personal card.

Bottom Line

The 50,000 Southwest point Chase personal card offers are back!  But in order to get the increased bonuses, you’ll need to use a referral link.  And whoever refers you can earn a 10,000 Southwest point bonus at the same time!

Or you might be able to earn the 50,000 Southwest point bonus on the Chase Southwest Plus card with this link.  Just note that it may be targeted.

This could be a great opportunity to earn the coveted Southwest Companion Pass if you can also qualify for the 60,000 Southwest point sign-up bonus on the Chase Southwest Premier Business card.
