We are an independent publisher. Our reporters create honest, accurate, and objective content to help you make decisions. To support our work, we are paid for providing advertising services. Many, but not all, of the offers and clickable hyperlinks (such as a “Next” button) that appear on this site are from companies that compensate us. The compensation we receive and other factors, such as your location, may impact what ads and links appear on our site, and how, where, and in what order ads and links appear. While we strive to provide a wide range of offers, our site does not include information about every product or service that may be available to you. We strive to keep our information accurate and up-to-date, but some information may not be current. So, your actual offer terms from an advertiser may be different than the offer terms on this site. And the advertised offers may be subject to additional terms and conditions of the advertiser. All information is presented without any warranty or guarantee to you.

This page may include: credit card ads that we may be paid for (“advertiser listing”); and general information about credit card products (“editorial content”). Many, but not all, of the offers and clickable hyperlinks (such as a “Apply Now” button or “Learn More” button) that appear on this site are from companies that compensate us. When you click on that hyperlink or button, you may be directed to the credit card issuer’s website where you can review the terms and conditions for your selected offer. Each advertiser is responsible for the accuracy and availability of its ad offer details, but we attempt to verify those offer details. We have partnerships with advertisers such as Brex, Capital One, Chase, Citi, Wells Fargo and Discover. We also include editorial content to educate consumers about financial products and services. Some of that content may also contain ads, including links to advertisers’ sites, and we may be paid on those ads or links.

If you have an AMEX or Citi Hilton co-branded credit card, this deal is exclusively for you!

You’ll earn 5,000 bonus Hilton points when you complete 2 Hilton stays by December 31, 2017.  But you’ll have to register first!

This Is a Nice Surprise for Folks Who Have Hilton Stays Already Planned

Bonus Hilton Points for Completing 2 Stays

Hilton has published yet another promotion!  And it’s targeted for Hilton co-branded cardholders.

With this deal, you can earn 5,000 Hilton points after just 2 stays.  That’s in addition to any points you’d normally earn for the stay.  Like the 10 base points per $1 spent when you’re a member of Hilton’s loyalty program, and any bonus points for using your co-branded Hilton card.

Here’s what you need to know:

And remember, you can NOT apply for Citi Hilton cards anymore.  But it’s nice that Hilton is still including them in their promotions!

Is This a Good Deal?

It’s a nice surprise for folks who have upcoming Hilton stays.  But it’s NOT worth switching hotel stays for.

Hilton points are generally worth ~0.5 cents each toward hotel stays, though they can be worth much more (or less!), depending on where you’re staying.  So this promotion is like receiving $25 worth of Hilton points (5,000 Hilton points X 0.5 cents each).

That said, there are plenty of other great deals I’d take advantage of first, like this Marriott promotion or this Rocketmiles promotion.  However, folks are reporting that you can combine this offer with other Hilton deals, like Hilton’s Double Points promotion, to make your Hilton stay more worthwhile.

Want More Hilton Points?

There are plenty of ways to earn Hilton points!

You can sign-up for the no-annual-fee Hilton Honors™ Card from American Express, which comes with up to 75,000 Hilton points after meeting tiered minimum spending requirements.  Or the Hilton Honors™ Surpass® Card from American Express, which comes with 100,000 Hilton points after spending $3,000 on purchases within the first 3 months of account opening.

Note:  These are both limited time increased offers that end TOMORROWOctober 4, 2017.

Or, you can transfer other miles & points to Hilton.  AMEX Membership Rewards points, Virgin Atlantic miles, and Hawaiian Airlines miles transfer to Hilton at a 2:3 ratio.

Bottom Line

AMEX and Citi Hilton co-branded cardholders are targeted to earn 5,000 bonus Hilton points after completing 2 stays by December 31, 2017!

This is a nice bonus if you have Hilton stays planned anyway.  But I wouldn’t go out of my way to earn this bonus, because there are other more valuable hotel promotions to focus on instead!
