Some folks are getting an offer for a $5 statement credit when you spend $5 at McDonald’s. You must make your purchase by December 31, 2014.
Emily and I like to try McDonald’s in other countries to see what unique items are on the menu. Plus, it’s a great way to save money so we can have a splurge meal during vacation. So this is a nice added bonus!

How to Get the $5 Statement Credit
Step 1 – Log Into Your Account & Click the AMEX Offers Tab
Log into your American Express account. Then click the “AMEX Offers For You” tab at the bottom of the page.
Step 2 – Save the Offer
If you were targeted for this deal, click the “Save Offer” button.
Step 3 – Eat at McDonald’s
Spend $5 or more at McDonald’s with your registered American Express card by December 31, 2014. AMEX will then add a $5 statement credit to your account.
You May Be Able to Get This Offer More Than Once!
If you see the AMEX Sync Offer for the $5 McDonald’s statement credit on multiple AMEX cards, you may be able to take advantage of this offer more than once!
To do this, just open each credit card account in a separate browser tab and click “Save Offer” in 1 account right after the other.
