Via Rapid Travel Chai, you should check here or here to see if you qualify for Starwood’s current “SPG Select Member Exclusive” promotion.  It’s valid for stays between February 15, 2017, and May 15, 2017, when you register by April 15, 2017.

For example, folks have reported being targeted for bonuses like 2,000 Starwood points for 1 stay and 2,500 bonus Starwood points for a 2nd stay.  Or double elite qualifying credits towards elite status for all stays.

Here’s more about this deal.

Were You Targeted?

You can check here or here to see if you were targeted for Starwood’s latest bonus offers.

If you qualify, you could earn perks like bonus points for stays or bonus elite qualifying credits.

The deal is valid for stays between February 15, 2017, and May 15, 2017.  But you must register by April 15, 2017.

Million Mile Secrets team member Meghan wasn’t targeted for anything.  But she doesn’t have any status or any recent Starwood stays either.

Is This a Good Deal?

If you’ve been targeted and have an upcoming Starwood stay it’s a no-brainer.  And because it only takes a minute to check if you’re targeted (and to register!), I recommend signing-up for deals like this regardless of your travel plans.  Because you never know when a travel opportunity might pop up. 😉

Plus, any bonuses you earn with this offer are in addition to the double points you’ll earn with Starwood’s Double Take promotion.  So the bonuses could really add up!

And don’t forget, you can now transfer Starwood points to Marriott at a 1:3 ratio, giving you more ways to use the Starwood points you earn.

Bottom Line

Check here and here to see if you’re targeted for Starwood’s “SPG Member Exclusive” promotion.  It includes stays from February 15, 2017, through May 15 2017.

If you qualify for the deal, you must register by April 15, 2017.  The offers vary by account, and not everyone is eligible.

Rock. Switched several reservations to Hyatt and Honors. Yesterday sent emails to management and ownership of each hotel to let them know why they lost revenue, due to SPG marketing and its discriminatory targeted promos. Surely it is due to me being Native American since they will never tell of how they target.
