Update: One or more card offers in this post are no longer available. Check our Hot Deals for the latest offers.

1.   1,100 Southwest Points for Just $1

You can earn 1,100 Southwest points by subscribing to the The Wall Street Journal for only $1.  Just click through the Southwest shopping portal and sign-up for a 2-month subscription by December 11, 2015, (this Friday).

Make sure you mark your calendar because the subscription will automatically renew at a higher rate of ~$33 per month.

But if you don’t like the subscription, you can cancel and keep the Southwest miles.  And all the financial knowledge you’ve gained. 😉

Spending $1 Could Get You 1,100 Southwest Points

This is a good deal because you can often find Southwest flights for 70 points per $1, which could make your 1,100 Southwest points worth ~$16 in travel.  And here’s my post explaining how you can double that value!

2.   Get Apple Watch for ~$250 to Earn ~$2,000+ in Cash Back!

Best Buy has the cheapest prices I’ve seen yet for the Apple Watch.  You can pick up the Apple Watch Sport for $249.

You can buy this, set up Apple Pay (if you have an iPhone 5 or 6), and earn up to ~$2,000+ in cash back with your Discover it or Discover it Miles card when you make in-store purchases by December 31, 2015.

Don’t forget you can earn bonus miles and points whenever you shop online!

3.   1,000 Delta Miles

Do you have an AMEX Delta credit card and dine out frequently?

Then this could be a terrific deal for you!  Complete the form and earn Delta miles with 2 of the listed non-airline partners by February 29, 2016, to earn 1,000 Delta bonus miles.

For example, you could earn the bonus by making a purchase with your AMEX Delta card and by dining at a participating Delta Dining restaurant.  Or earning miles from any other listed partner.

If you have an AMEX Delta credit card and need to top off your Delta account to book an award flight, it’s an easy way to earn 1,000 Delta miles.

4.   25% Bonus on Hawaiian Airlines Miles

Thanks to Million Mile Secrets reader, Miles Methods, for letting me know you can now earn 25% bonus miles when you transfer your AMEX Membership Rewards points to Hawaiian Airlines.

Transfer your points by December 21, 2015, to get the bonus.

This could be a great deal for folks planning a trip to Hawaii!  Check out this post to learn what you can do with Hawaiian Airlines miles!

I subscribed a few days ago. Any idea how long it takes for the points to show up?

Ironic a liberal drone who burns fossil fuel and pollutes the air: Will S. “…figured I could use the newsprint for starting fires in my stove over the next two months…”

Thanks. I subscribed to wsj. From your link, I saw two offers for 1500 points (instead of 1100)

1) 2 months for $1

2) 17 cents a day for 12 weeks

Thanks for these alerts Daraius…. and after a bit of self-flagellation and rationalization, I bit on the WSJournal deal — despite my revulsion at ever wanting to pay one dime to a Rupert Murdoch owned enterprise.

I figured I could use the newsprint for starting fires in my stove over the next two months — and thus could stomach a dollar going for the fire starters. Seemed fitting even. 😉

Do you know anywhere I could buy 8k Amex pt? I am short of 10k hawaiian miles. Thanks.
