Need help meeting minimum spending on your new AMEX card?  Plastiq’s latest promotion might be your best bet!

Meet Minimum Spending Plastiq Reduces Fee On AMEX Cards To 2
Pay Almost Any Bill With a Credit Card Through Plastiq!

I’ll give you the details of this promotion!

Pay Bills Through Plastiq With AMEX for a Reduced Fee

Link:   Use AMEX With Plastiq for 2% Fee

Plastiq allows you to pay any bill (businesses or individuals) with a credit card.  Even bills that don’t normally accept credit cards, like mortgages, rent, and car payments!  You can read my review of Plastiq here.

Folks like Plastiq because it can be a good way to meet minimum spending requirements.  But Plastiq usually charges a 2.5% fee for their services, so it’s not a good idea to use Plastiq JUST to earn credit card rewards

But through February 28, 2017, Plastiq is charging a reduced 2% fee when you use your American Express card to pay your bills!  This could be a great opportunity to meet minimum spending on cards with extra big spending requirements!

For example, The Business Gold Rewards Card from American Express OPEN is currently offering 50,000 AMEX Membership Rewards points after spending $5,000 in the first 3 months of opening your account.  That’s a higher minimum spending requirement than most cards.

Until January 25, 2017, The Business Platinum® Card from American Express  is offering up to 100,000 AMEX Membership Rewards points!  But you’ll have to spend $15,000 in 3 months to get it!

You’ll earn 50,000 AMEX Membership Rewards points after spending $5,000 in the first 3 months of opening your account.  And you’ll receive ANOTHER 50,000 AMEX Membership Rewards points after you spend an additional $10,000 in the first 3 months of opening your account.

That won’t be easy for many folks!  But the ability to pay bills that don’t usually accept credit card will help.

And taking advantage of this offer is simple.  All you have to do is:

  • Schedule a payment for ANY bill
  • Make sure the processing date is no later than February 28, 2017
  • Use any American Express card for the payment

That’s it!  A lower 2% fee will automatically be applied to your transaction.  Just remember, you will NOT get the reduced fee if you schedule a payment AFTER February 28, 2017.

Note:   There’s always a chance something can go wrong, so pay in advance to be sure your payment is received on time.  That said, Million Mile Secrets team member Harlan has used Plastiq without problems for almost a year.

Bottom Line

Plastiq and AMEX have teamed up to give you a reduced 2% fee (normally 2.5%) when you pay bills with your AMEX card.  But your bill MUST be paid no later than February 28, 2017.

This can be a great way to meet minimum spending requirements at a low cost.

Will you take advantage of this latest promotion from Plastiq?

Do we know if there is any credit history pull? Also does the signup include SS#?

anyone care to comment to the last post i put on here?

If it’s not one of the listed merchants they often asked for a proof (lease agreement, bill, statement etc), they are pretty good at making sure you only pay the real eligible expenses.

this may be a very simple q, but can one pay friends or family with this without that person getting a tax statement?

based on website, looks like anyone can get paid

Anyone done it and it counted as a purchase ?

And not clawed back ?

I have literally made thousands of dollars worth of payments via Plastiq with various cards and never had any issues, the charges are processed like any other charges. To be more specific in regards to AMEX, I recently opened the SPG AMEX card and used Plastiq for part of the minimum spend required with no issues at all. We all know policies can change anytime, but so far so good.

Any issues at all regarding MS with Plastiq due to all the claw backs you read?
