Great timing!

Following the announcement that RadPad will no longer process rent payments, Plastiq has introduced a limited-time promotion.

When you schedule at least 6 rent or mortgage payments, you’ll pay a reduced credit card fee of 1.75% with a Mastercard and 2.25% with an American Express card.

Limited Time Pay Mortgage Or Rent With 1.75 Credit Card Fee
The New Plastiq Promotion Can Help You Earn Credit Card Rewards When You Schedule 6+ Rent or Mortgage Payments With a MasterCard or AMEX Card!

I’ll share more details about the offer!

Plastiq is lowering their fee for rent or mortgage payments!  But in order to qualify, you must follow these rules:

  • Schedule 6 or more payments, as far into the future as you’d like
  • Make sure those payments are for rent or mortgage
  • Use a MasterCard or American Express card
  • Do it before October 31, 2016, 11:59 pm Pacific Time

This is especially good news after RadPad announced they are stopping rent payments!

This is similar to the previous MasterCard promotion, which ended September 30, 2016.

For this promotion, you can use cards like the Citi Double Cash Card or Barclaycard Arrival Plus World Elite Mastercard, which both earn at least 2% in rewards.

Or you can use this Plastiq promotion to meet minimum spending requirements on the limited time AMEX Hilton offers.

Bottom Line

For a limited time, Plastiq is lowering their fees on MasterCard or American Express rent or mortgage payments.  You’ll need to schedule 6 or more payments by October 31, 2016.

Will you take advantage of the limited-time Plastiq promotion?

@ Charly Chang: How can I pay mortgage / rent at Walmart or other grocery stores?

Thanks, i just put my capital one venture mastercard on autopilot for my mortgage and with 2x points i came out a little ahead

Good Morning Daraius,

Do you know of any way to pay “property tax” using a credit card?

Million Mile Secrets

@Charly Chang – This is a more convenient way, and it does cost a bit more.

@tim grable – I doubt it.

@Freeman Grover – Platiq may be able to help you do that.

Do you know if they applies to payments already scheduled?

I still don’t think this makes sense. You can get vgc/mgc for 1% fee (with potentially 5% cash back) and then pay mortgage/rent at Walmart or other grocery stores. Why bother with plastiq?
