Love flying JetBlue? Good news!
Via Frequent Flyer Bonuses, you’ll earn double JetBlue points on every flight through April 30, 2017. But you must register and book your flight by March 23, 2017.
This is a no-brainer for folks who already plan on booking a specific JetBlue flight. And I’d recommend signing-up even if you don’t have a flight planned. Because you never know when a travel opportunity might come up!
I’ll explain the details of the offer and help you decide whether it makes sense for you.
JetBlue Double Points Promotion
Link: JetBlue Spring Forward Promotion
To qualify for JetBlue’s Spring Forward promotion, you must register and book your tickets by March 23, 2017, for flights through April 30, 2017.
Normally, you earn 3 JetBlue points per $1 spent on base airfare (before taxes). And another 3 JetBlue points per $1 on tickets booked through JetBlue’s website.
With this deal, you’ll get double base JetBlue points. So you’ll earn 6 JetBlue points (3 points X 2) per $1 spent on airfare. For example, I found a round-trip ticket between Los Angeles and New York (JFK) leaving April 2, 2017, and returning April 9, 2017, for ~$505 (plus taxes and fees).
You’d usually earn ~1,515 JetBlue points for this ticket (more if you book online), because of the 3X base JetBlue points per $1 spent on airfare.
But you’ll earn ~3,030 JetBlue points (~$505 X 6) for this flight with the Spring Forward deal. Because you’ll get 6X base JetBlue points per $1.
JetBlue points are worth ~1.4 cents each, so 3,030 JetBlue points are worth ~$42 in JetBlue airfare.
Is This a Good Deal?
You should definitely sign-up if you have an upcoming JetBlue flight. Because there’s no reason to miss out on bonus points!
It might even make sense for some to switch a paid flight on another airline to JetBlue. Especially if you’re close to reaching JetBlue Mosaic elite status. Because the bonus points you’ll earn count towards Mosaic status!
With elite status you get:
- 2 free checked bags
- No change or cancellation fees
- Expedited security line
- Free in-flight beverages
- Another 3X JetBlue points for every $1 spent on JetBlue
Plus, when you earn Mosaic status in 2017, you’ll have it through the end of 2018.

Anyone with an upcoming JetBlue flight should register. Because you don’t want to miss out on extra points! And it might make sense for folks who are close to reaching JetBlue elite status to switch a paid flight on another airline to JetBlue. Because Mosaic status comes with a few nice perks. 😉
