Update: One or more card offers in this post are no longer available. Check our Hot Deals for the latest offers.Good news! Via Doctor of Credit, you can get 10% off car rentals and hotel stays booked through the Chase Ultimate Rewards Travel Portal through March 31, 2017. On up to $2,500 in combined hotel and car rental purchases.
So if you spend the full $2,500, you’ll get $250 cash back. That’s a pretty good deal!
Here are the details of the promotion.

Link: Chase Ink Business Cash Credit Card
Through March 31, 2017, you can get 10% cash back (10X Chase Ultimate Rewards points) on hotel stays and car rentals when you use your Chase Ink Cash card to book through Chase’s Travel Portal.
You’ll earn 10X on up to $2,500 in combined spending. So the maximum you can earn through this promotion is $250 or 25,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points ($2,500 in spending X 10% or 10 points per $1).
Normally, you’d only earn 1% cash back (1 Chase Ultimate Rewards point per $1) on hotels and car rentals with the Chase Ink Cash. So you’ll earn a LOT more with this deal!
Plus, I let you know earlier this week that Chase is offering the same deal for folks with the Chase Freedom and Freedom Unlimited cards. That said, it might be better to use your Ink Cash card for car rentals, because it comes with primary car rental insurance when renting for business purposes.
And don’t forget, if you also have a card like the Chase Sapphire Preferred, Sapphire Reserve, and other Ultimate Rewards earning cards, you can potentially get even more value from your points by transferring points to hotel and airline partners:
If you spend the maximum ($2,500) and earn 25,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points, you’d have enough to transfer to United Airlines for a round-trip domestic coach ticket.
Or a night at a the all-inclusive Hyatt Zilara Cancun where Million Mile Secrets team member Scott has stayed on numerous occasions. He loves the hotel’s wide variety of restaurants and top-shelf beverages that are included. 😉
Is It Worth It?
This deal might seem like a no-brainer, but there are a few disadvantages.
For example, you will NOT earn hotel points or elite stay credits when you book through Chase’s Travel Portal. And there’s no guarantee you’ll have your elite status recognized during your stay, so you might miss out on valuable perks like free breakfast or late check-out.
And not every single hotel or car rental agency appears on the Chase Ultimate Rewards Travel Portal. So if the hotel you want isn’t listed, you’re out of luck.
And as always, I suggest shopping around and comparing the prices you see on the Chase Ultimate Rewards Travel Portal to other sites. Just to make sure you’re getting the best deal!
Bottom Line
Chase Ink Cash cardholders can get 10% cash back (10X Chase Ultimate Rewards points) on hotels and car rentals booked through the Chase Ultimate Rewards Travel Portal. On up to $2,500 in combined spending through March 31, 2017.That’s a good deal. But don’t forget, you won’t earn hotel points or stay credits when you book hotels through the portal, and you might not have your elite status recognized.
