Club Carlson points usually sell for 0.7 cents each. But with this 100% bonus, they cost just 0.35 cents each!
This is NOT a tiered promotion, and you’ll receive the 100% bonus even if you buy just 1,000 Club Carlson points. So it’s great for folks who just need to top off their account for a certain award stay!
You can buy up to 40,000 Club Carlson points per calendar year (excluding bonus points). So with this offer, you can get up to 80,000 points! And if you want even more points, you can buy points with multiple accounts and combine them for free.
Is This a Good Deal?
We don’t usually see a 100% bonus for purchasing Club Carlson points. And this deal could certainly save you a lot of money, depending on which hotel you plan to stay at.
For example, I found rooms at the Park Inn by Radisson, Houston North, Texas in December for ~$100 per night. But it costs just 15,000 Club Carlson points per night.
With this promotion, it costs $56 to buy 16,000 Club Carlson points. So you’ll save $44 when you buy points instead of reserving your room with cash ($100 per night – $56 in points)!
That said, there are plenty of hotels where it’s a better deal to just buy your hotel stay with cash. So always do the math to make sure you’re getting the best deal!
