Update: One or more card offers in this post are no longer available. Check our Hot Deals for the latest offers.

There’s a new AMEX Offer to earn 25,000 AMEX Membership Rewards points when you spend $1,000+ with Crystal Cruises by February 14, 2019.

AMEX Offers are targeted deals, so not everyone will get them.  But when opportunity meets timing, you can save a lot by adding offers to the best AMEX cards, like The Platinum Card® from American Express, to save a lot of money.

Or in this case, enough points to fly round-trip to a domestic port!

Set Sail With a $1,000+ Crystal Cruise & Earn 25,000 AMEX Membership Rewards Points!

Here are the full offer terms.

This deal is niche, but might be useful for folks looking to set sail.  When you spend $1,000+ with Crystal Cruises by February 14, 2019, you’ll earn 25,000 bonus AMEX Membership Rewards points.

With AMEX transfer partners accessible through cards like The Platinum Card® from American Express and The Blue Business℠ Plus Credit Card from American Express, that’s potentially enough for a round-trip coach award flight to the nearest port city!

AMEX runs frequent transfer bonuses, too.  So you can save even more with:

  • British Airways for short flights on American Airlines or Alaska Airlines for 7,500 points each way
  • Delta and their weekly flash sales to destinations around the world
  • Flying Blue to Europe when there’s a Promo Award that fits your travel plans
  • Iberia when they’re running a sale to Europe
  • Other transfer bonuses that pop up (like a recent offer for extra Air Canada miles)!
Use the Bonus Points You Earn to Help Pay for Your Airfare. Depending on Where You Go, You Could Even Get a Round-Trip With AMEX Transfer Bonuses

To earn the extra points, you need to add the offer to your targeted card.  To check, simply log into your AMEX account.  Then make a $1,000+ booking with Crystal Cruises online or by calling 888-722-0021.  Be sure to pay with the same card that has the AMEX Offer loaded onto it.

Then wait for your bonus points to roll in!  AMEX says it could take 90 days, but in my experience, it’s usually much quicker.

As always, run the numbers to make sure you’re actually getting a good deal.  And shop around to see how worthwhile those bonus points will be.

Or if you already know you like to cruise with Crystal, then this is an easy way to get a rebate.  If a friend or partner got the same offer, see if you can split payment to earn even more AMEX Membership Rewards points!

If you’ve cruised with Crystal before, how was your experience?
